Hello,

If I delete the Portfolio Toolkit, what happens to the existing projects created in the Portfolio section? Are they deleted? Or are the converted to pages or posts?

I’m using the Maker theme and installed the recommended plugins (https://docs.themepatio.com/maker-recommended-plugins/). However, the Portfolio Toolkit plugin has not been updated for three years, and it seems to offer the same functionality as some themes for portfolio sites. But I don’t want to disable the plugin without knowing what happens.

Hello Dimitry,
I use the Portfolio toolbox model (on the Maker theme) on my home page.
I currently have 11 projects displayed on my home page but only the first 10 appear and the last one is on the next page. They appear as squares, 3 per rows so there’s only one on the 4th row.
Is there any way to control the number of projects displayed per page?

We love your portfolio toolkit plugin, and I’m using it to create a simple site with picture driven pages –?so the things featured aren’t projects as such. Would you be able to tell me where in the templates I can alter the wording, using a child theme and a few edits?

Hi everybody. I’m setting-up a website and using the free version of Maker theme by ThemePatio and consequently Portfolio Toolkit plugin.
I implemented the plugin WP Custom Widget Area to create an additional menu with portfolio categories.
Now, when I open a page listing all portfolio galleries within a category, I see the page title in this form:

“Portfolio Category: Category Name”

I would like to get rid or change the part of the title “Portfolio Category” that is automatically added to the tile by WP.

Could you help?

is there any possibility to sort the portfolio to different topics, like “recent works“, “classic works” or “works whatever“… on my website (test.tonguc.com) for example I would like to sort to my homepage “recent works”, to storyboard-page “storyboard-portfolio” & illustration-page my illustration-portfolio. I tried to solve this problem with categories, but than I have a complicated category permalinks above and not a simply test.tonguc.com/storyboard or test.tonguc.com/illustration

I see that the order the portfolio items appear on the homepage in the grid is by date created. Is there a way to change the order?
