We have been using the portfolio slideshow for years without issue. As of yesterday it does not scroll from the first item in the slideshow and the left/right scroll arrows are not functioning to manual transfer between the featured posts assigned to the slideshow.

Wondering if this plugin is going to be supported anymore. I would gladly pay a reasonable yearly fee to keep it going. I use it over 4 sites and am now having issues since php 7.4 etc. I have not found another slideshow portfolio that is as easy simple to use just a shortcode. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

My client has asked me if it would be possible that the size of the portfolio pictures will always adapt to the window of the screen? Can anyone help me with the issue?

is this plugin capable of “autostart” and by that I mean the images slide as soon as someone lands on the page as opposed to they won’t slide unless and until a viewer clicks a button?

Not sure why this suddenly stopped working.
I have the latest upgrade, nothing has changed it just stopped loading. I deactivated and deleted then re-installed and same issue.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I am not feeling all that savvy with this tool at the moment. I have an old slideshow and I need to add images to it. I have tried the add slide button but that does not seem to work or I am just daft and not getting the workflow… Anyway, I have searched youtube for an example but they all use the classic editor not the new guttenburg.. Anyone know of a video?

I have to service an older site, which is currently running WP 3.26.

While testing the update to 5.03 I recognized that the graphical pager i.e. Bullets isn’t working anymore only the thumbnails.

The image disappears after load and the slideshow doesn’t work.

The slide show used to work, but now it only displays the first of a series of photo’s, and does not run. In addition, there is a large block of white space beneath the image. Hello, I get this error in the console when Gutenberg is active:

TypeError: this.el.slides_list.sortable is not a function[Learn More] admin.min.js:1:959

And the “Add Slides” button does not load the media library modal.

I’m glad to see this plugin being updated again!
But it is still broken in a number of places.
Here’s what I did to fix the captions issue:

At the bottom of portfolio-slideshow\src\views\slides.php

before the last three lines at the bottom

All of the boxes are checked for captions and titles in the settings, I have even tried using this shortcode-

[portfolio_slideshow showdesc=true showcaps=true showtitles=true]

But they are still not showing up.

I am also unable to change the slideshow size.

It says my version of this plug-in is current as well.

Hi, I have installed the slideshow and it works perfectly on computer but not for mobile (iphone) using chrome. The images does not change in size. Any suggestions?

Hello. We’ve been using Portfolio Slideshow without any issues for several years, but now there seems to be a problem. The images in this gallery won’t load properly in standard view. It works perfect in fullscreen view though. I’ve tried re-uploading the images, creating a new slidshow, but that would do it. So is the slidshow too big or what’s up? I need help.

I have 2 pictures in my slideshow (V1.12.0). I click the X to remove the 1st pic, then update.
So far so good. Now I remove the 2nd picture, click update and after the update both pictures appear back in the slideshow.
Is the slideshow compatible with 4.8.1?

Hi, for some reason the titles do not show up on my slideshow.
I have set titles for all images right.
I have Show titles ticked in the settings area.

Also, I cannot disable autoplay for some reason.

This is the shortcode I’m using:

Is there a way to add the slideshow snippet code into the html code for say a singe post page? i am looking to have the slideshow show in all of the post on the site. So as i write a new post, the slideshow will show in the new post.
Is this possble to add the code right into the single post page code????

The ‘Clicking on a slideshow image’ => ‘opens the image in a lightbox’ feature does not seem to be working. I am running the plugin on a fresh install of wordpress with no other plugins installed. Please let me know if I am missing any other settings that may resolve this issue.

hi I have used this plug in for ages, then when I upgrade it to the last version I discover that the design is a bit different and doesn’t match any more my taste.
I would like to have it as simple as possible and remove the thumbsa at the bottom of the slideshow

Portfolio Slideshow, Version 1.12.0, Imbalance 2 theme

I go to settings, tick a box (eg. “Crop images”) and save it. If I now want to untick the box (eg. not croping images) and I save it, the box stays ticked.

I tried Safari and Firefox.

Can I reset all Settings of the Plugin somehow? (As a workaround)

Edit:
I deleted the Plugin and reinstalled it. The boxes are still ticked ??

After update, the slideshow id no long appears below the slideshow. Existing slideshows are still working via the shortcode. For new ones, I can’t find the shortcode anywhere in order to use it. Settings recommends I provide the Following information:

I am unclear why loop=true isn’t working in the shortcode. I found someone had a similar issue here, it looks like, but there was no resolution to it.

Other attributes seem to be working, just not that one. And it is set to loop in the settings, as well as the shortcode.
