I have the popup configured to use ‘plain text’ button type. I inserted the shortcode (without spaces) into my paragraph where I want the pop up to be enabled when clicked. The text is click-able and the pop up appears but on the front end there is a line gap between the click-able text (shortcode on back end) and the next word even though they are in the same sentence.
Please let me know how to correct this.
You can see an example at my website homepage, https://www.innovativechimney.com/
(look for the text “Fire Island Lighthouse”)
Hi there,
I like how you’ve build your plugin but I’m having an issue with it. When I got to the page with the shortcode, the displays the popup but also prompts me for a login. It says “The server https://www.c3entertainment.com is asking for your user name and password. The server reports that it is from Secure Area.”
It works fine on the web browser in which I’m working on WordPress, because I’m logged in, but if I use another browser or computer, it prompts for the login. It can be cancelled out, and then you can navigate elsewhere, but it does prompt you again if you go back to that page. I left it up on a subpage for your to see: https://www.c3entertainment.com/our-brands/motor-marc/motor-marc-events/
Another pop-up plugin I tried did the same thing, but it prompted a login on every page of the site. The difference seems to be that your shortcode is only affects the page in which it is pasted. It seems this is a cookie related issue or a security settings issue. I’m fairly intermediate at WordPress.
If you have suggestions to suppress this, please let me know.
Thanks,
Tom
