I really hate these types of plugins where you need to make an external account somewhere to use. I don’t mind restricting some of the features if you don’t make an account, but to have to make an account just to use the basics, its not really right. These types of plugins should be be allowed in the official registry in my opinion.

Out of the box, this plugin has no features until you sign up through their external 3rd party website. At which point you only get “21 days of FREE Trial before you decide to upgrade your license”.
This plugin’s only purpose is to sell subscriptions since it has no features out of the box.

There are lots of other popup plugins out there. this one got me since I have lots of websites – both WordPress and others. I can use Popup Maker on all of my websites – no matter how the website was built.

I am here to share the positive experience I had with Popup Maker.
It helped me a lot to increase my sales by showing the targeted popups on the website.
Mainly, the exit intent feature is a great option to push the users to check the available deals and proceed with the purchase.
Also, they have the analytics tool, which allowed me to determine the most popular popups, thus, creating the right content to behave more sales.
I need to admit, that they have excellent customer service – a rarity these days.

The most annoying process I’ve gone through with a plugin, so much so I am leaving a review when I never have for a plugin. Here are the steps I went through:
1) Installed the Plugin per a recommendation article through WPForms.
2) Find you have to signup through their service and grab an API Key.
3) Inserted the API key, and go to create a popup.
4) Have an unavoidable questionnaire popup on Company, what I do, etc.
5) Go to create a new form. Another popup, This time for a video walkthrough, cannot skip until the 10 second timer is done.
6) Notice the form is created through their site and does not have access to my forms anymore.
This is the worst experience I’ve had to just use a dang plugin, I just wanted a quick lightbox plugin for a service request form. I pride myself on building great websites quickly, and forced countdowns and questionnaires are a gross waste of time. It’s the first time I’ve felt hassled around on a website. I guess I should have expected that from a pop-up plugin.
If you want to get to actually building things quickly without hassle find a different plugin!

I get really annoyed by such plugins. I just want to install and to use it. But no, I need an API key. I need to register somewhere. That’s why this is probably the 10th plugin I’m testing and it’s such a waste of time.
Just explain what you need to us it in the beginning of the description. Then I’d happily leave the page.
It gets so annoying that I’ll just start to give bad reviews to such plugins.
