Will definitely edit this review’s star rating, but my question is that before i run this plugin is that would you recommend doing a backup (other than pics?) i dont care about the original png’s since i did all the pics myself, but afraid that it sounds too good to be true (no offense intended) im hoping it is. but i used another plugin (jetpack boost) followed all the steps and just made my website slower.. Grade F in GT Metrics.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Easy to use and efficient. The bulk convert page loads fast, the images were generated and replaced neatly. I saved over 80MB converting approximately 350 PNGs, and this was only a test run.

The plugin converts the format and replaces the address in the database well and without any problems. Be sure to back up before use to avoid problems

I used it on WordPress 5.7.1. The plugin does what it should do. Converting 200 images took about 3 minutes. I hope it will be updated soon. Using old plugins is always a bit scary.

Плагин нашел лишь малую часть моих PNG. Затем заменил полноразмерные png на jpg при этом они все исчезли из тех записей где стояли. Также (!) уменьшенные варианты этих же изображений ОН ОСТАВИЛ В ТОМ ЖЕ ФОРМАТЕ PNG. Таким образом были убиты самые большие PNG и больше ничего не изменилось.
Я это делал птому что у меня есть backup сайта ??

Didn’t work for me “Leave original PNG images on the server” is not true, you actually can lose your PNGs which happened to me. Good thing I had a backup or else I’ll be looking to replacing/updating hundreds of images.

The plugin does exactly what it’s meant for and with interesting options. I had lods of png of 1mb and more and the plugin helped to transform everything with a jpg recompression without headache. The ability to separate png with transparence is a good point. Big up to the dev <3
