After updating to version 4.09, I had to turn off the plugin, as it began to change the sender name for all letters coming from my site to mail using the following template “[ Site name ] WebP generate for Plus WebP”. After deactivating the plugin, the problem was resolved. Your plugin is very good! I gave it 2 stars just to get your attention.

The plugin works, converts images to webp but also uses the apache PHP LoadFromFile that loads the images from file rather make http request, which means it will change the canonical of the images. Which means your articles and website will disappear from Google search, which will kill the traffic and the website finally.
This happened to my website till I traced the solution down to this plugin. You’ll post and it just won’t show on Google search even though all is green on GSC because of this plugin.
If you notice your website traffic is dying or your website doesn’t show on Google, try removing this plugin and check your keywords acquisition on ahrefs.

It’s a great, simple plugin. Just replaces the JPG/PNG you upload into WEBP instantly.

Этот плагин просто эталон сверх качественной бесплатной разработки. Он идеально подходит для использования в паре с WP Rocket. Во-первых у него есть функция генерации в фоновом режиме, и когда он закончит генерить, то пришлет письмо уведомление. Во-вторых он регистрирует фото WEBP в библиотеке медиа. А так же дает возможность создавать расширения коренные или просто добавочные к текущему расширению файла. Например фото.jpg, может бить сгенерировано как фото.webp либо фото.jpg.webp
И вот последний вариант отлично подходит для настройки WP Rocket, нужно просто активировать опцию WebP Compatibility

This is a great plugin!
It does things like none of the other, similar plugins do. Not only does it convert your media to the efficient .webp format, it offers to delete the original image(s)! Just what I needed.
In the open source tradition of WordPress, the developer has produced a plethora of plugins, and doesn’t try to stick his hand in your pocket!

Probé mas de 6 plugins de los mas famosos y ninguno me convirtió las imágenes existentes en la galería a formato webp, este plugin convierte masivamente las imagenes y las reemplaza a formato webp, justo lo que estaba buscando, le falta un poco de desarrollo en la opciones ya que no dice el nivel de compresión al convertir las imágenes pero hace lo que dice
