Doesn’t solve every need but is very useful & compatible. Only issue so far … embeds https://fonts.googleapis… etc. rather than //fonts.googleapis…etc. which I have to manually change when using https.

All I was trying to do is come up with a blank page with just my header and not a slider that I have installed and has to be in all pages. But this plugnedit is not the answer and is still entirely impractical and a total hassle like it was a few years ago. WordPress is based on a motto and all wordpress developers follow a trend: make everything ridiculously difficult where it would take someone forever to get the hang of it – and do not make any templates easy to customize.

This is not practical and is mostly useless unless someone wants to spend hours/days trying to get it to work.

There is a problem when creating a page. I always get this error “Fatal error: Call to a member function removeAttribute() on a non-object in /home3/actino/public_html/dev/wp-content/plugins/plugnedit/PNEBlogBuilder.php on line 109” for viewing my newly create page via this plug-in. but in localhost its working.

I found it very cumbersome to make a page with three columns and a couple graphics. The in-line html function is buggy. I keep losing the formatting and having to redo it. I never could figure out how to get a solid white background. This would be much better if it supported CSS. The inline text editor was probably the most frustrating part.

I had a range of questions regarding the use of Plug-N-Edit, and both the patience and support that I received was nothing short of awesome!

He stuck with me to be certain every possible detail was addressed so the result would be first class. And it is!

I’m beyond grateful to have found this plug-in and the dude behind it. John, you’re the man!

This is a great plugin allowing WYSIWYG editing overcoming the limitations of layout design in WP.
On top of that the developer John gives great support, always responding promptly and even implementing suggestions.
I highly recommend this plugin for anybody not using own coding.

Exceptional plug in! PlugNedit has unlocked the ability to make my project come to life!

With PNE, old limitations of WordPress 2D builders are left in the dust!

Also, am thrilled with the fact that when sending a question within the program interface, it gets answered promptly, with courteous professionalism.

Found it Not user friendly and little too complicated for me… It is good plugin that does a lot. Personally i prefer lighter solutions maybe like Colorfully but capable of allot and easier design via front end UI.

While having an editor with a lot of flexibility is definitely needed, this plug-in for me anyway is a bit cumbersome. Overall it’s okay.

Not intuitive or newbie friendly. If you have a lot of time to sit and
play around with it than that may not be an issue for you.

The Inline editor stopped working in the middle of the page I was trying to create. Even though the plug-in said the editor was loaded. It would not appear.

LACK OF CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS

The videos should be step by step for each component. Example, a video that shows how to add text, edit the text, changing styles etc would be a lot more helpful. Start from scratch to demonstrate how something is created using the plugin.

Personally I hate videos that attempt to show how to do something without a voice over. The “watch and figure it out” thingy doesn’t work well for me. But it may be just fine for most everyone else. ??

So overall it’s a good plug in.

I was disappointed by the lack of style sheet support, and uses inline styles for everything. So, while maybe not what a developer would use, I can see the benefits of this for people who can’t code.

If this allowed me to load my style sheet, and have changes reflect on the style sheet, this would be good for developers. I would envision this using a CSS tab which highlights onscreen elements containing inline styles, and allowed you to assign classes or export those inline styles to CSS rules, as well as directly edit the CSS. This way it could be used by beginners without needing to worry about the CSS, and it would work for developers without the need to automatically generate unwanted classes.

By far one of the best plugins out there. Easily allows users to create landing pages for their wordpress site in an html format. If you run into an issue their support is fantastic! Can’t say enough great things about this plugin and the creator!

I think there is loads of potential for this plugin and it’s a great idea. John the developer is very helpful. I want to use it for moodboard ideas and such, so the url can be sent to colleagues etc. for review. I’m looking at the interface right now for styling and look forward to working with John in the future.

After two months of stumbling around, trying to find a way to recreate the Home page I had designed on paper, I hit upon PlugNEdit. It had a fairly short learning curve (although I must admit, I’d had a lot of trial and error education beforehand; I just couldn’t get the hang of dealing with widgets and such in WordPress). Give me a break; I’m 71 and trying to create my first website.

But look at me now! Thanks to PlugNEdit my site now looks like this: https://aworldwithoutheartdisease.com/. It’s been tested in IE, FireFox, Chrome and Apple, on laptop, iPhone, Android and iPad, and it has worked flawlessly. I couldn’t be more pleased.

I am not a good programmer at all but need to create some attractive, simple mini-sites within my directory site. These mini-sites are one-page paid listings that really need to look nice. Rather than pay someone to assemble these simple sites, I can do them myself by using this easy to use plugin.

As with almost any WordPress plugins, there are the occasional glitches, but overall the product works quite well. Thanks for your development and support. You’ve saved me.

Works absolutely great. I love it… I just can’t use it because it says it can’t be used with an adult theme… one of my sites AttractionUSA.com maybe considered adult.

The author responded quickly and I would even pay a reasonable price to purchase it.
