WP v6.6 – Plugins List v2.7
Wonderful plugin. Thank you.
Still. Just a friendly reminder/confirmation for an older post:
None of the following combinations work.
[plugins_number show_active=true show_inactive=false]
[plugins_number show-active=true show-inactive=false]
[plugins_number active=true inactive=false]
[plugins_number]
Could you please see to it?

[plugins_list inactive=true]

[plugins_list active=true]

[plugins_number inactive=true active=true]

I’v tried tha bove but all I get is a list of the active plugins ?
Thanks
John
WP Version 6.4.3
[plugins_number active=true inactive=false]
David, I think it would be incredibly useful if Plugins List also showed the “Tested up to” value.
Would something like that be possible? Hope so!
Thanks very much,
John
PS Some might also find knowing the minimum PHP version useful also…
Hello,
No url are displayed to tags in the list.

Thanks in advance,

Hello, I have added a few lines of code to the plugin so I can offer a formatted list with a short description (1 line). Not sure if you have any interested in that mod, with a bit of tweak I am sure it could be integrated as a shortcode option as well.
It would be really nice if this plugin just had a view in the preferences/setup area that showed the data in a copy/paste format – so we didn’t have to create a page/post for it.
To all users:
Here is the code that I use to create two nicely formatted lists: Active plugins, then Inactive plugins. Both lists display plugin name and version. I find this list is a very helpful administrative tool. Many thanks to David for the tip for separating into Active and Inactive lists.

Plugins List ?blog name? ?date?

Show Active Plugins
[plugins_list show_active=true show_inactive=false format="{{Title}} - {{Version}}
"]

Show Inactive Plugins
[plugins_list show_active=false show_inactive=true format="{{Title}} - {{Version}}
"]

Hi,
I’m trying to generate a list that separates Active and Inactive but can’t seem to find the right formula.
Two separate formulas would work as I can enter them on the same post.
Could you suggest formulas tha would work?
Thank you!
Tod
Greetings!
Is it possible to show all plugins, but label the
Inactive ones?
Is it possible to show whether Enabled or Disabled?
Thanks!

Not working….
All I get in body of post is:
[plugins_list]
It’d be fabulous to be able to also display a list of the recently active inactive plugins like the plugins page does in the WordPress backend
A great plugin, just what I wanted to sort my 67 installed plugins out! Only half are used, the rest will be uninstalled.
My issue here is that
shows All plugins and not just Inactive.
It would be great to list only Inactive as well. Can this be remedied please.
Ii am running the latest version of WordPress and PHP 7.3
It would be great if you could add a shortcode to list only the inactive plugins.
Hello,
The versioning number of the plugins don’t shown…
It seem you encountered this problem in the past…
But, great plugin .. many thanks for this!
vLaaD.
From version 2.4.2 of this plugin there is a requirement for PHP 7 or above.
If your current hosting is not at this level, please remain at version 2.4.1 of the plugin and consider updating your PHP (or your host).
Great plugin, much obliged!
It would be a great help if you would add a single click option to export all available variables to .csv file for download!
I installed it this month. I don’t know if with the WP update to 4.9 or when, but after updating a few days ago a plugin the screen was blank with the admin panel menu visible. I thought it was a problem with that plugin, but today after updating other plugins it happened again, until I discovered that the problem was coming from your plugin… I had to uninstall your plugin.
Bes Regards,
Fran
Just tried this plugin, works great and thanks for your hard work.
Then I’d like to know if there’s a way to list only inactive plugins? because I’d like to have a separate list shows only inactive plugins for other maintainers that without plugin managing permission know what plugins are currently inactive on our blog.
THanks!
Hye, for a while the tag #Version# dosen’t seem to work anymore. I tried to disable the cache and nothing changed, I get version instead of the number.
Any related infos?!
Thanks for your work!
Hi ??
As with all my plugins, I present this to you for free. There no ads, nags or premium options. Support is free too.
As for everyone, my time is limited. It’s just me and NOT a team of people. If you post here I should get an email straight away and I’m quite good as responding quickly. But, yeah, I may not always due to numerous reasons, including holiday (aka vacation). And, no, I won’t tell you when I’m going to be away. At the end of the day, I’ll do my best. I can’t do anything more, surely?
If you’re interested you can see current planned enhancements and reported bugs (as well as roadmaps for planned work) here…

Have fun, enjoy the plugin and, if you don’t, let me know – support queries and reviews are always welcome!
…kind of.
I am in the process of rebranding my plugins under the name of “Coded Art” with a website and social media links to follow! As well as providing a more professional look, I hope to be able to provide further assistance via a dedicated website.
It’s exciting times and I hope to provide further details in the coming weeks. Meantime, this plugin has now been rebranded but, don’t worry, all support queries will still be managed by myself, whatever the user name says.
David.
When I try to access any of PRESSAPPS Knowledge Base plugin’s menu items I get an error 500, and if I try to access the settings it tells me I don’t have sufficient permissions.
Which is odd, because all the other 31 activated plugins [https://wpexpert.support/plugins-used-here/] work fine, apart for one ~ Plugins List. Instead of showing the plugins on the site, which it normally does perfectly, when PRESSAPPS Knowledge Base is activated, it shows a PRESSAPPS Knowledge Base search window and if a search is made, then another error 500 is the only result.
The site is a multisite install but I am only interested in running this plugin on one blog.
Can you help me please?

Hello,
I wanted to output just a list of plugin titles, one per line. I thought the following code would do that:
[plugins_list format=”#Title#
”]
But it does not. The plugins display like this…
Add From Server
Add Linked Images To Gallery
Admin Search by ID
Advanced Post List
Akismet
Amazon Link
Artiss Code Embed
Artiss Plugins List

Is this a bug, or have I misunderstood something about how this works?
Is it possible to exclude specific plugins from appearing in the list?
We have a number of legacy plugins that need to be left enabled, but we don’t want to advertise that they’re available for people to use.
Can I exclude them from the list somehow?
Why do we need this in our content?

First up, I like this plugin a lot. IT does precisely what I wanted with a minimum of overhead. I just have one little thing to report. When I first activated the plugin in WP3.5.1 I got a notice at the top of every screen:
Notice: Use of undefined constant APL_DEFAULT_PLUGIN_FORMAT - assumed 'APL_DEFAULT_PLUGIN_FORMAT' in /home/virtual/site154/fst/var/www/craigmbooth/wp-content/plugins/plugins-list/plugins-list.php on line 22
Line 22 of plugins-list.php should read:
define('APL_DEFAULT_PLUGIN_FORMAT' ....
