Very useful to quickly see the update status of the plugins directly in WP

This is a really useful plugin which I install on all my WordPress sites – makes it easy to spot old, unmaintained plugins.

Got on a search for something like this after one of my websites was going belly-up periodically, and turned out it was caused by a wayyyyy old news ticker plugin. I have a plugin to monitor when my plugins need updates, but duh didn’t even think about how i should catch plugins that are never updated! This is just what i was looking for to keep me informed in future. And the kind of plugin i like: does one thing, and does it well.
I didn’t notice any lag at all on loading the plugins page right after install (lag has been reported as – of course – it has to make connection to www.remarpro.com to check each plugin).
Four stars, only because would like to see a recent “Last Updated:” date, and a “Compatible up to:” current WordPress version. (Even though it is simple enough that will probably work for a long time to come, it would be more reassuring if itself it has these — that’s the point, right? ?? )
This is the kind of thing WordPress should be doing, instead of bloated stuff like customizer and jetpack :/
Thanks for this!

I really like to see which of my installed plugins have not been updated in a while. This is a simple colorful tool to help me do that!

While I’m probably a little bias about this plugin since it was my idea, the plugin in developer Steve Kohlmeyer, executed it be beautifully.
At my request, in version 0.0.7, he added support for Multisite so that now they the column shows up in wp-admin/network/plugins.php. When installing, use the ‘Network Activate’ option.
Now I’m going to have to go through them all purge the old ones or contact the plugin developers that haven’t updated in over 2 years… to update.

Works right off the bat. The column is easy to see, and the information is well laid out and clearly displayed. Just what I was looking for to help me keep track of plugin updates.
I tried another plugin that also included other information which would have been useful to have, but it was too buggy to be of any real use to me. I like that this plugin keeps things simple, and therefore accurate!

Update (Oct. 4, 2015): I already left a nice review, but I have to add more. After communicating with the plugin author about some discrepancies I was noticing, he not only worked to resolve the issue, but also added another column to provide more complete information. I’m more satisfied than ever with this plugin!
Thanks, Fastmover ??
