Hi,
When I create a plugin it does not show on list of installed plugins. It does get created in \plugins folder, however.
]]>I have installed ‘Pluginception’ and activated it. The current WordPress version is “WordPress 5.2.3”.
However the “Create a new plugin” option is not found under ‘Plugins’ menu. Only two options are showing under ‘plugins’ menu — “Installed Plugins” and “Add New”.
I see a notice in my server log:
PHP Notice: get_screen_icon is deprecated since version 3.8.0 with no alternative available.
I see Pluginception uses this function call in the file class.add-from-server-settings.php
]]>The create button says Create a blank plugin and activate it! you’d think this would activate the plugin, but you actually have to activate it from the plugins area.
Not sure if this is intended behavior or not
]]>Salve, io ho necessità di duplicare questo plugin:Dropdown multisite selector, ma devo rinominare le funzioni o se stesso, altrimenti mi genera error fatal. Con Pluginception posso creare un menu nuovo? potete aiutarmi, grazie
]]>The directions say to go to Plugins->Create new, but that does not exist in my menu. Maybe a plugin conflict?
]]>Hi, what are the causes for the “create new plugin” option to be missing? I just installed your plugin and even after deactivating all my other plugins, I do not see the function of Pluginception.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
]]>Is there an update for v4.0 coming??
]]>I made the plugin and pressed update. It tells me the plugin is inactive. How do I make sure it is active? I cannot find what I made in my plugin menu. How do I remove it if I should need to at a future date? Thanks
]]>First, let me say I love this plugin – very easy way to get things started!
I noticed that when I create a new plugin, apostrophes in the name, description, author, and license fields are being escaped. Instead of the title being Can’t Do This, it comes up as Can\’t Do This in both the editor field and the dropdown to select which plugin to edit, as well as showing up that way on the plugins page.
I discovered this on my local server, so I also tested it on my shared hosting with the same result. Here are the specs for both servers:
Local server (XAMPP 1.7.3):
+ Apache 2.2.14 (IPV6 enabled)
+ MySQL 5.1.41 (Community Server) with PBXT engine 1.0.09-rc
+ PHP 5.3.1 (PEAR, Mail_Mime, MDB2, Zend)
+ All magic_quotes_* are off
Shared hosting server:
+ Apache 2.2.22
+ MySQL 5.5.23
+ PHP 5.2.17 (Zend)
+ All magic_quotes_* are off
Other than this issue, it works like a charm for me. Thanks for releasing it! ??
