Hello,
Do you know if it’s important to install this plugin before any other plugin ?
And do you have a list of other plugins to install before everything ?
Thank you so much for your help <3
]]>Why some plugins may be missed during the installation form list of 15 plugins?
]]>Plugin Central is no longer compatible with the latest versions of WP. Our sites using it are now showing the following errors:
? Strict Standards: Redefining already defined constructor for class PluginCentral in /home/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/plugin-central/plugin-central.class.php on line 13
? Notice: has_cap was called with an argument that is deprecated since version 2.0! Usage of user levels by plugins and themes is deprecated. Use roles and capabilities instead. in /home/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2998
It hasn’t been updated in two years. I would not recommend using it until it is.
]]>Hi — Thanks for the good plugin. Wondering if it is compatible with WP 3.7.1 and if it is still being actively updated.

The plugin screen is currently showing…

Many Thanks
]]>On a fresh install of WordPress I install Plugin Central and when I go to it I get the message “You do not have sufficient permissions to manage plugins on this blog.” All my other plugins are fine. I am using the admin account which is the only user. This happened before and I actually reinstalled WordPress to see if that would fix it. It did not. I saw that someone else posted this a while ago but the thread was closed to comments with no resolution! How can I fix this?
]]>After installing this directly through the WP plugin interface and then activating it, when I click on the Plugin Central menu item Chrom blocks it saying:
Danger: Malware Ahead!
Google Chrome has blocked access to this page.
Content from xxxindianxxx.com, a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page.
What’s going on?
]]>Hi,
Yesterday I got a message in my dashboard, stating that I should update Plugin-central plugin. Without giving any further thought to the suggested action, I went ahead and updated the plugin.
to my surprise, when the update seem to be completed, I press the link to go back to the plugin page as there were other plugins waiting to be updated. When I clicked on that link, a blank page appeared. And unfortunately, it continues to appear as I try to access the following address: https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin
A complete blank page appears , no errors, no nothing, just a blank page shows up and I can log back into my blog. What Could happen?
What I did then, is go to my ftp program and delete the folder that contained plugin-central files, thinking this will solve the problem. the fact is that it didn’t.
I do not know what else to do! Can you help?
I see my sites pages. I simply can’t add new posts, pages, etc.
thanks for the feedback!
]]>When using Plugin Central, I have to widen my browser so that the entry textarea is positioned correctly. If I don’t, it displays below the ads that display on the right.
Couldn’t the textarea be made to be more reflexive, so it can it in the regular spot without me having to widen my view?
]]>I don’t see the option to turn the hidden link to author’s website off. I appreciate the plugin, but my sites would be a mess if every plugin developer hid a link in their footers in this manner. Is there an option somewhere that I’m not seeing? (I can delete it in the editor, but it would come right back after an update.)
]]>The “update” to version 2.4.2 is absolutely useless! The ONLY change in the code is the version number. I’m not just saying that. Diff the versions and see for yourself.
I suppose the only reason for the update was to re-appear on plugin update listings. Very “clever”! On Stack Overflow, they have rules against “update spam” like this. Oh well…
