I want to hide the “save” button on a single image. I added the nopin=”nopin” tag. Didn’t work. How can I remove the save button?
<div style=”width:300px;margin:1em auto;”>

fyi – I used absolute URL’s on the actual page
Here is where I found the nopin tag: https://blogpioneer.com/nopin-code-block-images-pinterest/

A board section splits a board into different areas, the same way boards split all your pins into categories. Board sections are like sub-categories.
[pin_board url=”https://www.pinterest.com/allyogatypes/yoga-profiles/nina-mel/” size=”custom” image_width=”300″ board_width=”900″ board_height=”1200″] should share just a section (Nina Mel) of the board (Yoga Profile).
I initially thought your plugin supports this, but now I’m afraid it doesn’t. I am afraid you get rid of the /nina-mel/ in the URL somehow, because I see all pins from the board inside.
I added a profile widget in my sidebar, but none of the pins that are being displayed are mine. How can I fix this? I already double-checked that my username was spelled correctly, and it is.
Hey folks,
As the original developers of the Pinterest Widgets plugin, @nickyoung87 and I are not supporting this plugin anymore, so you won’t hear back from us in these forums. It is now owned by another company, which you can contact via https://pinplugins.com.
You are of course free to continue using this plugin as long as you’d like.

Hello there.
I’m not the most technically competent person, perhaps you can help.
I’ve managed to get the widget (display a Pinterest board) working on my sidebar. So far, so good.
But what I want to do is display Pinterest things (a board, or a pin, etc.) inside a PAGE or a BLOG POST, not in a widget area like the sidebar.
So I looked at the “settings” for the widget, and I’m trying to make sense of it.
Firstly, the “General” section:
What does it mean to “Disable the output of pinit.js”? This is Sanskrit, to me. Should I just leave it unchecked?
Secondly, I am baffled by the “Shortcode Help” section (for “Follow Button”, “Pin Widget”, “Board Widget”, and “Profile Widget”).
To take the example for “Board”, it shows the following:
This also makes little sense to me. I’m a WordPress newbie (not a computer programmer) and I don’t understand what shortcodes are, or how to use them.
So I tried putting the characters “[pin_board]” (not including the quotes) into my Page, and nothing happens. When i preview the Page, I don’t even see those characters. There’s nothing.
Hmm… well, the widget Settings also say:
“Use the function <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[pin_board]’); ?> to display within template or theme files.”
Here, too, I don’t know what to do.
So, I’m stuck. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Please don’t suggest I should just go back to WordPress.COM instead of self-hosted WordPress, because I really need to stick with self-hosted.
Muchos gracias!
Hi
I can’t work this out at all ??
I’ve downloaded the Pinterest Widget plugin and I’ve copied this code into my Footer file:
<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[pin_board]’); ?>
But when I paste the Pinterest board into my blog post, it only displays the URL, not the board.
Please can you help?
Thanks
How does one know if they have pinit.js ??
Disable output of pinit.js, the JavaScript file for all widgets from Pinterest. Check this option if you have pinit.js referenced in another plugin, widget or your theme. Ouputting pinit.js more than once on a page can cause conflicts.
Hi – I have this board & URL used and embedded into my site:
https://www.pinterest.com/kingshawaiian/hawaiian-foods-week ( This is the entry I put in the widget – Pinterest Plus)
I ONLY want pins/posting from it (hawaiian-foods-week) BUT it seems its ALSO pulling from the kingshawaiian board as well.
URL to my site/ scroll all the way down: https://www.hawaiianfoodsweek.com/
Please help!

Hello,
I just installed this clever plugin and just figured out how to get it into the sidebar. Is there a way to limit the number of Pins that show up when I have a specific Board showing? I’d like to have only 5 or so.
Thanks very much!
Jeanne
I understand that Pinterest did an update in Dec 2015 that allowed users to choose small, medium, or large embedded pins now – is that now also applicable to this plugin? We’d love to scale up the size of the embedded pins on our website. Thanks!
In posts in which I use the Pinterest widget to display a pin, a small Pin-It button appears alongside a couple of my sharing social media icons. In other words, at the bottom of the post where the sharing icons for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc., are, two Pin-It buttons appear.
On posts in which I do not include pins, there’s no problem.
The social media sharing plug-in I’m using is Social Media Feather.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Hello,
I would like to know if this plugin is responsive, namely, if I set up a board widget and display it through a shortcode with custom sizes it will be reduced on mobile devices.
Thanks!
Hi there. I installed pinterest widgets on my multisite a while ago and everything has been fine up until the point at which I tried to create a new subsite. I received the error:

Any suggestions?
Since a couple of weeks I’m having problems with the widget not displaying on my site when using Chrome on desktop. It displays without problems in other browsers such as Firefox, Microsoft Edge etc and also in Chrome on my Android phone.
Not sure if this might be something that has to do with my WordPress template (MH Magazine) or something else. It was working fine on the same template up to one point when I was refreshing the page and the widget stopped displaying on the site all of a sudden.
If anyone has any tip as to what might be wrong it would be highly appreciated.
I have been running this plugin for a few months now and it has been great for my needs. Suddenly the pin widgets are appearing and re-appearing.
I have checked on several devices and sometime the boards will show up on my iPad and not on my laptop.
I have made a few adjustments to my blog’s theme – but it was CSS and plugin changes not to the theme code.
You can view an example of a page with the pins here, there should be three pins displayed in widgets in the posts.

Hi!
Hoping you can help. I found that Pinterest’s Pin Widget wasn’t working in my blog posts (I couldn’t see the pin pictures in preview and didn’t trust them to publish correctly) so I’ve just downloaded your plugin. I used the code as directed to insert a pinterest pin into the TEXT area of my blog post. The code looks like this: [pin_widget url=“https://www.pinterest.com/pin/329536897712297375/“]
I am still not seeing the pin when I hit preview – it’s just a blank space. How do I know if this will publish the pin correctly?
Is there some additional code or steps I need to take in order to see this in Preview mode?
Thank you!
I have your Pinterest plugin installed on a website under development: https://www.vegancaravan.com
It works perfectly on the Homepage, however when you visit another page and return to the Homepage the Pinterest box has gone and there is a blank space.
The WordPress theme is Salient. Tips on fixing this appreciated? Thanks.

Hi there,
I’m trying to get the profile widget to show up in my blog. When I add the short code nothing appears. I’m trying to get a box that appears next to the other widgets on this page. https://amhersthall.com/blog/ I’ve posted the Instagram and the Twitter short codes and have had no problems.
I’ve tried pasting the shortcode for the Follow Me button in the same field but it only appears as regular text/hyperlink.
I’ve tested it out buy placing the widget in a side bar it does not appear in the blog, but does appear on other pages.
I’ve removed all Pinterest related plugins.
I am pasting it into the following code which executes PHP
<?php if ( is_home() ) : ?><div style="float:center;margin-right:15px;margin-left:40px; margin-bottom:25px; margin-top:0px;";>

[instagram-feed headercolor=#000]

[twitter-timeline id=594629732404105216 username=amhersthall height= "400" width= "315"]

[pin_profile]

<?php endif; ?>
Any help or direction on how to narrow down or fix the problem would be appreciated.
Hi,
We’ve set pinterest board on our website (https://styleandthebride-prelive.headchannel.info/) on the right sidebar and it does not scale up to 100%. We’ve left width field as blank and this should result in auto setting which should fill the sidebar.
Do you know how to fix it?

I updated the Pinterest plug-ins on my site several hours ago and my site went down and posts this message
