It does what expected from it. Thank you. There a few things I made note of.
1) Boards or pins tumbnails are not shown on 720p mobile devices. It’s a shame, because I’m mostly administering my website from mobile devices and don’t always carry 1080p tablet, neither am I at my desk.
2) auth credentials could be stored in the database instead of asking for authentication with Pinterest every 180 minutes. (otr have option to stay logged if one desires).
But my overall impression is very good. This tool works and nothing to complaint about.

Works, but as of 7/25/2018 permalinks only work for direct Pins (custom post type). Categories or tags don’t pull Pins-type posts into the list for some reason.

The last rewrite (as of June 2015) makes it almost perfect!
The only improvement I miss is how to deal with massive boards that contain hundreds of pins. As it is now, the plugin can easily get past the php directive max_execution_time, which in many hostings cannot be modified.
The rest is just wonderful.

I managed to import nearly 4.700 pins from 200 boards. This took a while and was only possible in smaller steps (per step i chached 20 boards and imported their pins. Then i had to delete the session and started with the next 20 boards).
