Hi,
The library seregazhuk/php-pinterest-bot has been having login issues since February 2nd : https://github.com/seregazhuk/php-pinterest-bot/issues. Apparently Pinterest has changed its API : https://github.com/seregazhuk/php-pinterest-bot/issues/442#issuecomment-460052176.
When this issue with Pinterest Bot has been resolved, Pinterest Importer will have to be updated as well to work again.
Best regards,
Marvin
Individual posts are okay, but neither categories nor tags are working on these posts.
]]>HTTP error 403 when requesting https://www.pinterest.com/resource/UserSessionResource/create/
]]>Just to be sure that this wasn’t something in my setup, I spun up a fresh WP 4.9.4 instance and am still seeing the same result…
As of the 7th of March, 2018 when trying to log into Pinterest within the plugin’s screen I am getting an error that I can only assume is a bad translation string. It doesn’t show up in a find-all search though… Unable to get me's user datas
If the username or password is wrong a 401 error is thrown so this isn’t that. Any thoughts on what could be causing it?
]]>Hi there
The Plugin (Version 0.5.2) used to work fine … but since the latest WordPress-Update 4.9, the Plugin does not log me into my Pinterest-account anymore, I keep getting the error:
HTTP error 403 when requesting https://www.pinterest.com/resource/UserSessionResource/create/
Double-checked file & folder -permissions and all is still correct.
Don’t know what is causing the problem.
keep up the good work ??

Since I have a German registered pinterest board pinterest.de s somehow pinterest automatcly cahnges its url frmo com to .de for German visitor. I cant check whether it working for pinterest.com/roomique It always changes to .de domain

you might have an idea whats the matter on this. I really appreciate your efforts and your help.

]]>I have a blogpage in my wordpress site. I have installed pinterest importer. How can I post my pins and pinboards on my blogpage which already exists?
]]>When trying to import pins, I get a fatal error:

Please advise.

1. Is it possible just to import the images without creating a post?
Is there a pro version?
]]>It would be a great asset to set the code so when one clicks on the imported image it opens in a new window ( target=”_blank” ) like you do with the embedded link.
Secondly, it would be a major upgrade if there was an option in the settings to not mark the imported image as a featured image. This would avoid the added drag on load and cluttered view of double images on the post and category pages.
Thanks for all of your hard efforts. It is greatly appreciated and a very useful plugin

Hi!
I want to import from other user boards, and from search. How to do it?
]]>First off AWESOME PLUG IN.
seems like the importer adds a photo in the body and as a featured image.
Is that true for everyone or just the 2016 theme?
If that’s true maybe a setting in the Plugin options to set whether to use the Body or not would be cool.
]]>Is it possible to import a pinterest post into an existing Blog page on my site?
]]>The plugin is currently broken because something changed on the Pinterest website :
While i’ll try to find some time to fix this, you developpers could help !
I filed an issue on the GIthub project page.
Thanks !
]]>I think I may be overlooking this setting…
On pinterest, I add descriptions of my pins, however when I import the pins, the description does not import as well. I have to go to pinterest and copy/paste each one to the associated image. How can I set this to be an automatic import?
Also, how do I prevent previously imported pins from reimporting?
Thank you.
]]>Hello. I love this plugin, it is so amazing!!!
Quick question, how can I import as a draft instead of the pin being posted automatically? I would like the opportunity to add tags to each pin so that when my Jetpack posts to social sites, there will be hashtags. Also, I don’t want all of my pins to be posted to every social site and importing as a draft would really help with that.
I would also like the ability to edit text is the pin before it post.
Thanks in advance.
]]>Thanks for the good work. I just made my second paypal donation to help your efforts. I hope others are compelled to donate, as well.
]]>It would also be nice to add a filter to alter the attachment data which included, as mentioned in my previous comment, either the Pinim_Pin
class instance or an array with the full pin data.
In my case, I’d like to include the parent’s post_title
in the attachment title, as well as the caption. Including the parent’s post_title
makes searching media a lot easier.
In previous versions of the plugin, the filter to alter the post_content
(now called pinim_post_before_insert
) included the Pinim_Pin
class instance as an argument, thus providing access to the full pin data. Now not anymore.
Is it possible to restore the class instance as an argument, or, at least, an array with all the relevant pin data?
]]>I get this error after logging into my pinterest:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get_pins_queue() on a non-object in …/wp-content/plugins/pinterest-importer/pinim-tool-page.php on line 1359
I have reloaded a few times, still get the error.
I do have php > 5.3.6 with the exif extension enabled
Any ways I can fix this?
I am having trouble with your new version. I keep getting an error message: Error getting user boards
]]>Nice plugin! Works great for me, so I made a donation.
I have hundreds of boards to import. What does Pinterest see when I use the plugin? Is it safe to import these boards quickly without getting shut off? How do you suggest I proceed?
Thanks!
]]>Problem: I tried to import several, then just one pin from Pinterest. I get this error message each time I try to import:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function exif_imagetype() in /home/u7913125/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pinterest-importer/pinim-functions.php on line 157
Everything else seems to be in order:
1). Login authenticated
2). Pins are cached
General Suggestion:
Maybe I missed it, but if not, you should put in the description that each pin will create a post.
– I am glad it did not work for at first because I would have created 1200 posts.
General Questions:
1). What status are the posts that are created – Draft, Pending, Published?
2). How do you use this on an ongoing basis? When I add more pins to a Board, when I import will the previously imported pins be duplicated?
It is a great plugin and a great idea. I look forward to using it. Thank you for freely sharing your hard work with us!
]]>Hi… Pinterest Importer looks like it could be a great plugin for me!!!
I just downloaded the plugin a few minutes ago to give it a try, but I can’t get past Authentication — Error getting App version.
Any ideas or suggestions? Thanx,

]]>Hi grosbouff,
am I right that “Pinterest” apparently changed the code of their login page again ? So “Pinterest Importer” can’t find the “app version” anymore ? I did a quick&dirty adaption of your code in ‘pinim-class-bridge.php’. I replaced
preg_match('/P\.main\.start\((\{.+\})\);/isU', $body, $match);
with
preg_match('/P\.startArgs.=.(\{.+\});/isU', $body, $match);
.
This worked for me. Maybe you could have a look at your code and update to 0.2.7.
Thanks a lot
Marc
Hi,
It appears that when I go to import a pin, I get a 500 error, hit go back in my browser and see that it managed to import the pin into a post with a title, some categories and that’s it. No featured image, no content.
What could be going on?
