This is the best plugin for photographer’s proofing process with clients. Few months ago asked them if clients could register without an email and they did it!
Gave them some feedback on a few things and they responded.
As far as the support goes 5/5 stars! Having the pro version is worth every penny, their support is on par with the quality of this plugin.
I will continue to support this plugin as much as I can, love it.

Simply fantastic!
I’ve used other plugins to show photos to clients, but Picu I have to confess really surprised me.
It’s very simple, the gallery page is fast and light, it contains the most important elements for the customer who only has to choose the photos he prefers.
Congratulations also to the technical support who helped me resolve a conflict with another plug-in.

I used the paid version for a wedding client in 2021 and it ended up not being the type of service I was looking for so I deleted the plugin.
A year later, 2022, Picu.io auto-renewed my subscription without notification. When I saw the charge on my credit card statement, I reached out to request a refund and was denied (“our refund policy is 14 days maximum” Claudio wrote.)
I feel this is a really shady way for a company to generate revenue.

After I installed succesgully Picu Pro I got an error when accessing collections. I wrote to Support and Florian came back asking me for PHP logo in order to understand where is the issue. I sent the PHP logos. It seems Pictu Pro and my AIT theme did not work together. Florian send me back a ‘hacky’ solution (a short code to baypass the error) until AIT Them will update there theme. In the meantime I set up a dedicated subdomain for Picu Pro with a clean WordPress and the problem was double solved.

The plugin works well and helps me to keep customers on my site. This helps my brand in seo and branding terms. It does what it needs to do in the free version.
Especially that customers can access their collection just by typing in their email is great thing, its comfortable and gives the customer a feeling of security and control about the informations they provide.

This plugin is life saver for photography proofing jobs. Really easy and intuitive. Finally I give a break from some difficult clients. Plugin development is very active. Since I started with this plugin I received many improvements trough updates.

This plugin is almost complete garbage. It’s been a nightmare making galleries with lots of photos AND the galleries are not compatible with mainstream browsers like Firefox and Opera. Also there’s zero backend access to the media files you upload to the Picu galleries. You have to use an ftp to find where the photos even are. Clients have also been saying they can’t send in selections because the gallery hangs and pauses. Why would I pay a penny if the free version doesn’t even work properly?

Yearly subscription in order to access to the most important feature. If it was a one time payment it would still be ridiculously overpriced, but this on top of that a early payment. Get a theme with built in photo proofing for half that price and you’re set for life with a one time payment.
Even the free version is buggy or missing vital features like deleting photos from collections… Can’t be done… Have to delete entire collections and start over.
