Hi, I′m have a problem now with this plugin an my google albums. I designed my blog with connections to my albums. Now I got this response:

I cannot connect to my account now. It seems, it will something changed on google+??? My pictures are on google album/photos.

]]>Hi, i’m looking for a plugin that shows photo’s from multiple Google photo’s accounts. The albums may be public visible but i prefere them not to be.
I’m running a website for my Scouting group and every part has it’s own google apps account. I want that they upload the photo’s of there camps to there own account, then show that album on the website.
Right now i use Picasaview but since that plugin has not been updated for 4 years i’m sure there are better plugins for that.
Can this plugin do that? Thank you for your response ??

my fix ,
Google has ended accepting AuthSub so we have to change the auth to OAuth 2.0.
The two authors of the plugin “gjanes & Wott” have left the wordpress 2 years ago and there is more than 10,000 active install.
I am not specified in google api but I made this for the need.
I have understanded the problem and worked until I have completed this Successfully.
solution is very simple as follow :-
1-first download the new php file of the plugin “picasa-express-2.php”.

2-go to https://console.developers.google.com .
3-create project.
4-go to “consent screen” under “APIs & auth”, select an Email address and type any product name then click save.
6-go to “credential” under APIs & auth”, click create new Client ID
7-select “web application” and type your website domain/s under “Authorized JavaScript origins” .
8-type “Authorized redirect URIs” as the path of your main picasa-express-2.php + ?authorize

9-click Create client ID , it will show an Client ID for web application.
10-Edit the new “picasa-express-2.php” file and type the info in the ” of variables under the comment(lines-40-42) from the “Client ID”.
11-Replace the new “picasa-express-2.php” file by the old one at the main plugin folder.
12-go to settings page of the plugin and click Revoke access(if it save old access from Authsub) then click “Request access” to gain the new OAuth 2.0 access.
13-Now you have done all thing , Just try the plugin.
the changes of the file is only in auth parts and I didn’t use any php functions except that of the wordpress.
the OAuth 2.0 completely differ from AuthSub which its token doesn’t expired
changes:
Major : lines 3408-3513(end) : new code for recieve the code from OAuth and request for access token and refresh token and saving them.
Major : lines 1570-1612 : get new access token if the last one has expired save it and use it for the current request.
lines 39-42 : info-of-Client ID for web application that you must fill.
lines 764 & 2859 : new url for OAuth 2.0 request access.
lines 3023-3036 : Revoke the access token by OAuth 2.0 and delete refresh token.

I created a fork of the plugin and added OAuth authentification so that private albums work again.
I submitted it as a new plugin for wordpress and it is currently waiting for review.
Until then you can test the plugin with the new OAuth authentification by following the instructions on https://github.com/thake/photo-express/tree/v0.1. The plugin can be downloaded here.
This is currently a test release, so please report all errors to me using this form.
]]>Its all gone pear shaped for me now too . I get “Response code is 403” on pages where I have used the short code for a whole album.
When I try to add images it doesn’t even bring my albums up any more. I get the same “Response code is 403”
Its a real shame because this plugin did everything I needed.
Just wondering what alternatives out there which are tablet and smart phone friendly. I just want to be able to post a gallery of a specific album and cannot find one that does that.

If i change the configuration to scale the pictures, all of them appears fine.

Using a Chromebook,it automatically backs a camera SD card up to Google + and the images are there for my 365 photoblog. Wonderful.

in one album I have approx. 115 pictures ans everything works fine. The pictures are sorted perfectly so that the play looks very good.

In another album I have more than 300 pictures and the whole site freaks out. For example the end of the page is in the middle of the photos and they are displayed beyond the “borders”. Furthermore they are not sorted so they don’t fit on the page like they in the first link do.

Maybe one of you has an idead how to fix this behaviour.
I also tried to crop all images into squares, but the settings doesn’t affect the pictures.

“If you need private albums access (required for tag searches) use the link under the username field to request access from Google.”
and in the settings it now says:
“You have successfully authorized access to private albums.“
Have I forgot to do something – eg in the Picasa settings?

PhotoSwipe lightbox method works fine on mobile.
But there is unpleasure bug on desktop screen.
When large image popups it two scrollbars appears. Bottom scrollbar hides a controls of lightbox.
Perhaps it needs to set width and height of layout elements little less then fullscreen size so scrollbars will not appears.

I don’t know how it is possible to not see the picture when editing a post, it seems to akward for me.

]]>I’ve been using Picasa Express plugin for a long time and never had a problem. Until now. Since I switched to Touchfolio theme the plugin is not behaving correctly. When there is any picture (or gallery) inserted by the plugin into a post, first picture is (and every content behind him) is shown out of the screen – you have to scroll it completelly down.

Hello, since I have updated to WordPress 4.0 the albums are not been shown to user with editor role. All albums are set to public in Picasa and editor role is activated in plugin settings. Anyone has the same problem?

]]>I logged in my wordpress using the WordPress android app and mobile internet browsers, however when I click on the icon (writing new post), the buttons where i can choose albums and specific images in the album to be inserted in the post cannot be seen. So I cannot embed an album or a specific images because of this.
