I inherited a site with php splattered all over, with many similar pages and lots of repeated code. The php was in the pages and widgets and eval’d by a plugin.
Now I have beautiful refactored code, all out of the pages and widgets, and safely in snippets. The mechanism for using $PHPPC for shared variables is nice too, and made refactoring SO much easier.
The facility to export and import snippets is nice too, as I was able to try things out on my own server, then stick them up on the hosting, with just a few clicks.
Your plugin has saved the day. And you are a fellow Scot too.
We like that.

A small issue in the latest version of this plugin, which was caused by my old version of php was solved within minutes of me notifying the author!
Friendly and extremely fast response and a quick solution makes what was already a great plugin even greater,
You can rely on it!

A very great plugin
I’m doing a migration from PHP Snippets which has been abandoned to your plugin.
I’ve more than 150 snippets to migrate…it’s a very long job.
So, I’ve some suggestions?:
– Can you envisage to implement a functionality to import snippet from a txt file (ie?: files used by PHP Snippets for example)
– Can you add a button on the interface like ??save and add new??
– Can you add a filter functionality (my snippets are categorized…. so, it should be interesting to select a group of snippets)
Thanks by advance if you cans take in consideration some of mu suggestion but, anyway, thank for your good job

Just a quick post to say how useful I found the plugin and how quickly the developer responded to a query I had. Sent him an email and had a response within 5mins!! The plugin is easy to use and has allowed some customisastions to my site that otherwise I would have had to spend a lot of time custom coding!

before i used this, everything is working so fine.
Then my learndash plugin give these errors after i use it:
Notice: Array to string conversion in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\shortcodes.php on line 326
after that, i tried to deactivate it.
but nothing happens.

A good plugin which does what it says, with a few extra bells and whistles.

well this php plugin has tremendeously helped me out alot. truth be told when wordpress said this plugin was untested with the recent up to date version of wordpress as of 6-8-2016 i wasnt sure this would work. desperation made me try it anyway. not only does this plugin work, but also it allows me to do alternative syntax php coding and create wordpress based functions like add_shortcode and all i need is to put it in a snippet. by far this and the other two php plugins insert php and allow php execute plugins are awesome and gives me more flexibility and control of me and my clients wordpress sites. many thanks to the developer of all the plugins. you are epic and rock!!!

I’d like it not to display a main menu in the backend. It would be better a Options sub-menu item. But it’s stll a very easy and useful plugin.

Thank you so much for building this. I didn’t think I would, but I like the modular structure (shortcodes)! ??

This plugin is wonderful, but very often it will not let me update, so I have to create a new shortcode and change it in my files.

Provided example code:
global $PHPPC;
$PHPPC->$_vars["myvaridentifier"] = $myvar;
When page is opened with shortcode, it crashes the site:
Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in …/wp-content/plugins/php-code-for-posts/PHPPostCode.php(85) : eval()’d code on line 3

Our webmaster normally adds this kind of functionality to our site. The plug in we were using before is no longer compatible with this version of WordPress so we were having some problems.
Took me all of 5 minutes to install and configure. It’s a no-brainer and works perfectly!
