]]>I am having a major problem with my posts reverting back to drafts. Is there a fix for this, or a setting I need to change to stop this? I really like the way the plug-in works, but this problem is keeping me from being able to use it.
Thank you
]]>Hi,
I’m seeing that my posts are being reset to “draft” status even after being published, each time the stream is synced. Either this means:
– there is some code to check for items that have already been imported from the stream, that isn’t working
– AND/OR line 1407 of photostream-sync.php should be within the “if” block starting on line 1317
Thanks!
]]>The photo stream link format changed and the plugin no longer works. Any updates would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
]]>Not compatible with latest version of iCloud. I hope the developer fixes it!
]]>I get this error message when entering my URL:
Double check your photostream URL. It doesn't work!
The URL works fine but not with the plugin.
URL looks like this..
https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#NNNNNNNNNNNNN
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

]]>Hey,
I tryed out the Plugin, but when I type in the PhotoStream Link after a whyle I get the Error Meassage “connect() timed out! – try it again”
Any Ideas what I make wrong?
I use WP 4.2 and photostream-sync 2.1.2.
Thanx
Andy
I have installed the plugin but when I import the images are missing. The stream name is there as are the galleries and image count, but none of the images arrive.
I have enabled 17.158.28.102 on the firewall.
Do you know it could be?

Also, as there hasn’t been a general release of the API for any purpose other than iOS development is the plugin a bit risky (e.g. could it be blocked by Apple at any point)?
]]>I was pointed to this plugin from a thread I began on the support forums…
As discussed there, I would like to create a portfolio of photos on a “page” of my website and be able to maintain/manage/update that gallery from my iphone, whilst ‘in the field’.
I tried this plugin out and it works great for actually getting images into a post but can it be used to just create a ‘static’ gallery, with no posting paraphernalia surrounding it, and then upload photos to that gallery?
My site is… https://www.diy-sos.co.uk
Thanks for any help/advice,

]]>hi,
I first installed wordpress 4.0.1 and then installed photostream-sync 2.1.2 After connecting the public photostream to the plugin, the comments were getting displayed on the page but the images weren’t displaying. Later I noticed that the images weren’t getting imported. After clicking import the progress bar wasn’t filling and it displayed “Start Importing of Media” below the progress bar. The second time i downgraded to wordpress 3.8.2 but still i was getting the same issue. I’m using a free hosting plan on 000webhost.com
I intend to use this to import images.
I research from my iOS devices and gather stuff for posts.
(I tried it and it made a great gallery – my first one ever. Nice.)
I would like to add photos to the same iCloud URL to import more photos as I go – just to have them in the media library.
Will adding more photos to the same iCloud URL add more photos to the gallery that was created?
Any suggestions?
Thank you
]]>I created a public photostream of 7 accidental screenshots from my kids. It’s public, you can see it here https://www.icloud.com/photostream/#A15oqs3qnVcnf
I import this into photo stream-sync, it creates an unpublished new post with a gallery of 7 photos in it. I can open the post, click publish, and the gallery appears on my QP site. All fine so far.
But then I add 3 new photos to the public photostream. I go back to photostream-sync settings and click ‘Import’ on the photostream. But nothing else happens. What happened to the second batch of 3 photos? My gallery still only has 7 photos. There is no new post with a 3 photo gallery in it.
]]>I’ve got multiple posts that are blank of the same thing. I delete them and they come back.
]]>After sharing images to the photostream, and the new posts are made, the images are not showing. The images has been imported. The text in the post is [gallery]. It should be something like this [gallery ids="123", "123"] ?
]]>Hi (Thanks far a great plugin!)
I’m trying to import a photo stream that I’ve been posting to for a couple of years. It seems to be working, in that photos are appearing. However, they all have the same title and text (caption):

Posing for a Passport Pic
Any ideas? Thanks!
]]>Hi,
I have 2 problems. The first one, My images will not be shown in the gallery post. The caption is there, but no image (in the backend, I can see the images).
Second Problem ist, that i would like add all new pics from my photo stream to a site not, to a gallery post. Is this possible?
]]>Excellent plugin!
I am trying to integrate Lightbox capability with the imported photo stream galleries. This would be easier if I could automatically set the “Link-To” value of a created gallery since lightbox only works with the “Link-To” value of “Media File.” Perhaps an option for photostream-sync to generate the gallery shortcode as [gallery link="file"] instead of just [gallery]. Or is there another way to accomplish this that I’m missing?
Thanks again for an excellent plugin!
]]>Hi, after downloading v2.1.2 and using WP v3.9.1 i am not seeing any photos in the new posts that are created after import. It is also not publishing on import as i have set the plugin to do.
Any ideas?
]]>Hello. I’ve recently installed this plugin as I’m moving away from Instagram and moving toward iCloud for my personal photo-blogging since I use my iPhone for everything, and this plugin sounds like exactly what I’m looking for! Unfortunately, when I tried to import the photos, I get the error: ‘It seems that the shotostream URL is offline’ — btw, that’s not my typo, just exactly what the error says.
I’ve verified that the stream is, in fact, online by visiting in a browser — even directly through the link within the plugin settings.
I’m extremely new to this plugin, so I may have missed something simple. Could someone please give some guidance?
Thanks!
Stu
]]>Hi,
The stream URL I entered is correct, but this message keeps coming up. What can be the problem?
]]>Hi.
Since WP 3.9 and photostream-sync 2.1 the plugin creates only drafts (setting is to published) and when it does this using the cronjob the gallery inside the draft is empty.
It downloads the images when I use the “import”-function and no empty galleries are created. But still only drafts.
]]>I’m getting the error message whenver i try to enter the photostream url, despite my browser being able to find the stream.
]]>Hi and sorry for asking but I am new with wordpress and installed this great plugin. I’ve also followed the install instructions.
But after adding a photostream it doesn’t appear nowhere on my blog. Do I have to link it anywhere?
Thanks a lot for helping me.
So I got it setup and added the [gallery] short code to the page I want it displaying on this photostream but photos are not aggregating here. Photostream does bring in photo and creates a post with it, and the photo can be seen when the post is selected, so it’s just not working in the actual gallery itself.
]]>Hi,
I’m getting the follow error messages from my cron job :
Warning: max(): Array must contain at least one element in “mydomain.com”/wp-content/plugins/photostream-sync/photostream-sync.php on line 544
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in “mydomain.com”/wp-content/plugins/photostream-sync/photostream-sync.php on line 574
I’m replaced the front part of the URL with “mydomain.com” in the pasted text above as my blog is private. It does point to the correct path in the cron job.
I’ve left all the settings in terms of gallery post titles and image titles as their default in the plugin settings.
Any help is appreciated !
thanks,
Chris
]]>First of all, thanks for this great plugin ! This is exactly what I was looking for. My wife has a treasure trove of photos and videos on her iPhone and this is the easiest way for me to help her get going with her blog.
However, I have two suggestions which will helpfully improve this great plugin. One of the biggest challenge that I have with this plugin is knowing if it’s actually doing anything :
1. Activity logging – it would be great if there’s a log that’s accessible via the admin interface to see if the plugin is working. At the moment, I’m manually refreshing the Media Library to see if it has pulled down the latest photos.
2. Manual trigger – I know the plugin relies on WP-CRON.php to trigger its operation but it would be great if a manual “fetch new photos” button can be added to the set up screen in the admin interface to trigger the plugin operation.
thanks !
Chris
]]>Hi.
When the plugin tries to import videos it fails with:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_read_video_metadata() in …/wp-admin/includes/image.php on line 122
I clean installed WP 3.7.1. No other plugins active.
Any idea?
]]>Hi.
When I have your plugin activated and want to manually upload a video or image it gets uploaded, but then in the last step it says: HTTP-Error.
Here’s a screenshot of the answer of the async-upload.php:
https://snapplr.com/k2x4
When I deactivate your plugin it works without the error.
Any idea?
This is a really great plugin. However, many of the photos on my stream are full size 1080P photos. It would be great if there was a setting that would allow me to specify either a max width or max height to set when importing photos and have them automatically resized as they are imported. This way they can load faster.
]]>Hi,
love your plugin. Do you consider a next release with support of the new video feature that was introduced with iOS 7?
Thanks
