Hi, I am just looking for a map to mark stores or projects on. When I go to look at the front side, it lists all entries below the map. Is there a way to disable this and ONLY show the map?

Getting a “undefined” error on the map listings.

I would like to list the pages by Category on the site such as Shopping. When I do so all the sub categories are showing up on the top. I would prefer this to be a navigation bar or a drop down menu, I am not seeing an option to correct this

Is there a way to pin the map view? My directory has most of the businesses listed in one area of the country but a few businesses are scattered across the country. When the page loads, I’d like the map to only show the cluster of businesses.

one of my client is using your plugin. The plugin scripts and the html for “Contact to Listing Owner” (which css is set to display: none) are loaded on every page. Is there a way to only load the script on pages where it is used? And is there an option where I can completely remove the html for “Contact to Listing Owner”?

Hello- I signed up for the SBD Pro (multi page). I like it so far but along with my directory I wanted to start a links page for classifieds can I do that with the pro version as well?

How do I set up a multi-page directory?
The getting started tutorial showed how to start creating lists (e.g. Health, shopping, pets). For example doctors and put the listing(s) for different types of health professionals. So the effect would be to have all the different listings and listing items all on one page, right?

I created a directory page and used the shortcode- so that they are on the same page. Now is this for a single-page directory?
So for the multi-listings page, how should I proceed with that? Create the lists first?
Thru the help chat, it stated to create categories first. How is it structured, do I have to set up separate pages for each category?

Hello. Google Maps API is much too expensive for sites with high traffic. And the API setup is not that user friendly for non-techie users.

Would you consider adding another option for maps & geolocation such as Leaflet & Open Street Map? I think plugin users would like to have such an option.

Upon completion I would like them to display a custom google marker I created on a map that matches their type/category. Can your plugin do this?

I had a mockup version of a page with the directory shortcode, and it looked great with the columns set to 2. That shortcode was showing “all lists”. I went and reorganized some of my posts in the plugin into separate lists, and now when I generate shortcode to add it to the page, for some reason it only ever shows one column and even when I change the shortcode to 1 or 3 and back to 2 it only stays at one. Is this normal? I would really love to be able to have it in two columns on my pages.

Hi there! Fantastic work on this plugin! It’s really helping our new site. I had one small question:

Is it possible to remove the animation hover effect on the listings? When you hover over a listing, the text slides in from the left. We would like to simply remove this animation as it clashes with the rest of our site. I don’t see any settings for this and have tried a few ideas with custom CSS but no luck so far. Our team would really appreciate any direction with this.

Is there a special purpose for the embed list page that was auto-created? Is it safe to delete it or change the title/slug?

Running latest version of WP and just a few plugins all updated.

When using the SBD shortcode generator, it generated shortcode w/ destired options, but then we can’t close the SBD shortcode generator popup. The X in top right of box doesn’t work and the copy & close button has no effect. The popup is stuck open and no other areas on that page are clickable. Only way to get back to the edit page is to refresh the page edit URL or open page edit url in another tab in browser.

Any one else having this issue?
I suppose it could be a plugin conflict but I doubt it.

We have added Google maps API key. The auto-complete as you type location feature is not working. Is this an issue with Google API not working, or other reason?

Paste this in Custom CSS and you don’t have to manually style every list. This came in handy because I wanted to change the color of 150+ lists. I Used Chrome Inspector to find the elements. Best of luck!
