]]>This plugin has not been updated in a while and just wanted to post so that others using WP 4+ don’t waste their time installing the plugin as it no longer works.
It was an excellent plugin and we used it for more than a year. However, you can no longer edit campaigns, donation listings spit the following error “Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Post_Comments_List_Table’ not found”, etc.
Wish the author would update or someone else would maintain it.

Great plugin, it has been very helpful. Is there a way to give the option to the donor to censor how much they have donated? (it comes up in the comments automatically) Some may still want their donation to show, but not all.

We’ve installed the latest version of WP in combination with Buddypress. All works fine, however we would like our registered members to be able to automatically get donations (fundraising for charity) by the visitors of the website. The website basically covers an event, participants can subscribe and compete and get donations from their family and friends by sharing their profile’s url.
In a nutshell:
1. User registers and get’s a Buddypress account.
2. User inmidiatelly is able to raise funds. Preferable the donations (amount + name) of the onces that have donated to this person are visible on the fundraisers profile page.
3. The raised money is all collected on one single bankaccount.
Can this plugin do this? Also, are other payment options available.

Couple questions –
1. When I go to /causes/sample-cause and try to create a campaign, I get this error – “Please wait while we validate this location”. I have seen others with this problem but I have not found a solution that works for me.
2. How do I access the register page so people have to register (and send us information) before they sign up and create a campaign? How can I control that initial registration form to add fields so it provides us more background info? or do I need a need to gather that information from a different form?
I have it set so –
login required to create is unchecked
allow users to register is checked.
user roles that can submit – all are clicked
3. if they register this way will they be able ot log in to their account and edit it by themselves?

From the Admin back-end, a donation was added with the name mispelled. the donor wants to correct that . I have attempted to make edits from the the Edit Campaign: Donation Listing>Show Donation, no edit can be made. I clicked on the Submitted On date and it brought me back to the Campaign page. However, I was able to go to the Dashboard: Comments and make edits. The corrections were saved, however on the Campaign Page, the [pfund-giver-list] did not update the name spelling correction. How can that be achieved manually?

I created a cause for fundraising and added it on the menu and it takes me to the separate page where only the cause is seen.
What I want to do is to take my cause like a form and add it on one of my custom templates because I already have a template with some content and I need to add a fundraising form on it with progress bar and a donate button and I am wondering if there is some shortcode or some query that should be written for that.

I have read through all comments on this and there is no answer to exactly how to problem solve this issue.
I setup a Paypal sand box site as purchaser and buyer. I have followed the instructions and fields in the PF plugin.
IN PP Sandbox the registrations/donations are working, however, the information is not being passed back to the plugin.
Yes: Paypal sandbox redirects back to the site after processing.
Yes: I have tried ‘Sandbox off and on in settings.
If I manually add the dummy payments in Personal Fundraiser Campaign — Add donation, the donation is recorded and appears in the widgets.

I’m trying to create a maker space and a financing platform on my wordpress site.
1. So I created causes, ex.: financing for special projects, financing for the maker space, financinf for classes
2. I created campaigns for the general maker space, such as financing the visit of another maker space, financing the purchase of 3d printers.
Now, I can’t get anything to look right on the website…
1. I want my campaigns to have descriptions, individual donations, but don’t understand how this can be done.
2. My causes page would list links to the campaigns with a very brief message but now can’t seem to be able to list campaigns per causes, only all of them.
So if anybody reads and can help, or at worst suggest a better plugin for my use (since I understand there is no support for this free plugin), it would be greatly appreciated

I am using stripe. Is there is a way to make this plug in worth with Stripe? I am looking forward to using this plug in but unless it can take payments through stipe, or connect to my wufoo account which is linked with stripe, I don’t see how it would be useful to me.

Currently there is only 1 campaign and only 1 cause and it will stay this way for a while so my question is regarding the Return URL. What URL should be put in the Return URL in the PayPal settings to get the PDT?

Does the plugin work in a multi-site implementation? I’m having trouble getting the notification emails to work with the Login with Ajax and Profile Builder plugins to keep users from seeing the wp menus and redirect them when they login to a list of their campaigns.
