I’ve installed the parmalink redirection plugin by https://scott.yang.id.au/code/permalink-redirect
I’d old parmalink structure as /%year%/%postname%/%postid% & /%day%/%postname%/%postid% now I’ve changed my parmalink structure to /%postname%/%postid%
But the parmalink redirection plugin is redirecting to ugly url that is ?p=%postid%
How to resolve this issue? Please help.
]]>If you use the wysija plugin, this “permalink redirect” breaks the “you’ve subscribed” and the “you’ve unsubscribed” pages along with an admin page or two. Just FYI ….
]]>One problem with this plugin. It does the same thing as the Permalink Redirect plug-in, but that prevents Google Analytics from tracking paid traffic The test for whether or not a site will allow GA to track paid (PPC) traffic is if you append ?gclid=Test123 at the end of a URL and hit return. If the argument stays, then something called ‘destination URL’ is in places. This should be fixed. ]]>Hi,
Since wordpress 3 my google analytics has complained about redirect errors. Looking at the headers there are a few 301s etc, I’m not sure how normal they are, but I was wondering if it’s failing on a certain redirect/header include new to WordPress 3.
Here is an example,
Maybe it’s correct behaviour and analytics has only just spotted it. If someone can confirm either way please that’d be great.
Many thanks
