the above URL is based on FCM and without Firebase auth and auth how you can take the user id with FCM? the auth is configured from your own Firebase account?

I am confused about that because Firebase also going to deprecate the legacy API in 2024 june.

Hi, I have over 10K subscribers, and whenever a notification job is published, the website goes down. Users can’t access the website when they click on the notification link. After some time of publishing the notification, the website gets OK.

How to remove icon from notification received on android phone

I find this plugin great, but I need to send push notifications via API (maybe with Zapier or Make/Integromat), so that I can automate some processes.

After a few days after plugin installation I have found in error_log that cron perfecty_push_cron_check has NO reccurence instead I receive error like in the picture attached.

If I go in wordpress tools – cron events – perfecty_push_cron_check and edit hook with every-minute the errors dissapear.

Hook: perfecty_push_cron_check

Action: Perfecty_Push_Lib_Cron_Check::tick()
wp-content/plugins/perfecty-push-notifications/lib/class-perfecty-push-lib-cron-check.php:57

After sending notifications the cron edited becomes Non-Repeating again. Tried to check the php from above on line 57 but no succes in how to modify it in order to have this hook from non-repeating to every-minute.

first of all its a great plugin and Thank you for creating such a beautiful plugin..

i noticed that after hitting 30k subscriber if i send the notifications it just goes to 30k or below 29500/ 28k and it just delete other subscriber.

first when i hit 30k+ i though ppl unsubscribe but now again from 28k to 30k same happening.

In order to implement push notifications in accordance with GDPR, it would be required to add a link that points to the site’s privacy policy.

Unfortunately, HTML will be removed. How can I enable the use of HTML?

And a second question: Can I replace the bell symbol with one of my own?

Hi, 2 month ago I installed plugin when user reached 1300+ i send notification and it sent successfully. But, now my website user reached 15000 and sender notifications but, status shows ‘running’ from more than 36 hours. So please help. Is there any setting i need to change ?

First of all, I would like to thank you for your time to create this awesome, simple and effective plugin.

Earlier this week Apple launched iOS 16.4 with Push API support in Safari Webkit (plus Notifications and Service Workers in Experimental section from Settings-Safari), which means that every iPhone and iPad that are running iOS 16.4/iPadOS 16.4 could receive notifications from Safari Web Service.

I have just installed Perfecty on my wordpress, subscribed to it from my MacBook and it works perfectly, but I can’t subscribe from my iPhone.

Is there anything to activate, modify in order to have Perfecty able to send notifications on iPhones and iPads?

I added support for Matador Jobs to send push when a new job is imported.

I would like to only show the sign on the job board (ie control when the JS is loaded) looking at the code, I can’t how do this without forking the plugin.

Urgent! I am using your plugin on my site. My site represents an organization where different people work in various roles.

The users with higher-level capabilities on site can trigger notifications manually under the “Send Notification” tab.

But lower capability users are not able to see this option on their WP dashboard.

My question is how to show this option/menu (Send Notification) to the users I want solely. I do not want to give the “Manage option” capability to those.

The plugin still doesn’t understand the fact that cron might be set at the server level and it’s spamming the logs with:

In wp-config.php, the cron is disabled. The plugin should understand this.

I need to make the orange color (both the bell and the button) black and the background color of the 1st visit message on top to grey, as well as the background color of the message when I click the bell. And also the white bell icon in yellow (in other words I dont want it to have background).

So I have been testing perfecty, it works great in one language, but if I use WPML and publish articles in 2 languages users get 2 notifications, 1 in each language. Is there a way to make user subscribe to only 1 language and recive only notifications in that language?

The plugin was installed on 3rd October, and it worked fine till 5th October, and it kept collecting subscribers. It still collects subscribers.

But since the 19th the notifications are stuck on schedule, even if I don’t schedule them.
Checked the client-side logs in the chrome console, and it shows two errors
1) Unchecked runtime. last error: The message port closed before a response was received.
2)ailed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()
3)2admin-bar-v2.js?ver=10.4-202242:20 Uncaught ReferenceError: wpNotesCommon is not defined
at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (admin-bar-v2.js?ver=10.4-202242:20:98)
at HTMLDocument.dispatch (jquery.js:5430:27)
at elemData.handle (jquery.js:5234:28)

I can’t find the error logs in Cpanel.

NOy sure why it just stopped working completely.

It would be great to know how to fix this.

Hi, @perfecty first of all thank you for making such a great plugin.

This is the kind of notification plugin I was looking for which can comply with respect to GDPR laws.

But I have some doubts before I use your plugin.

1. Are you guys committed to this plugin project for longer run?

2. Having running this notification service self-hosted, will it make server load slower?

3. Can we make something like this > for logged-in users… please check image (desktop mode) and in mobile mode > notification icon & a slider for notification when clicked on bell icon.

Like showing them the notifications on slider panel when they click bell icon.

Bell icon can be added as a widget anywhere?

I noticed Perfecty is using https://fcm.googleapis.com in the users/subscribers database and I’m guessing it is used to send notifications as well? Are there API usage limits I need to be worry about? Do I need / can I use my own FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) credentials? Not seeing anything in the settings though…
