Will this be patched or has this plugin been completely abandoned?

Is there a shortcode parameter to set the default page view when the PDF is rendered? It seems that the default view is “Actual Size” but it would be more useful if the default view was “Page Fit” so that the PDF displayed the entire PDF doc within the frame regardless of PDF size. A shortcode parameter for “pageview=pagefit” or “pageview=75%” would be very useful.

I’ve noticed that since the last update, the frontend of my site shows me PDF.js in its light theme version. In previous versions it used to display the dark theme automatically, I don’t know why. But I liked the dark theme better.

I was wondering whether there’s a way of changing PDF.js’s theme from light to dark. I was hoping to find an option on the plugin’s settings, but it’s not there.

I get a blank screen where the document should be. When can there be an update? Nice day.

Can you please update your plugin so it works in the current WordPress version?

For some reason, PDFs using this viewer have started to have junk text overlay over actual text on the PDF. It makes it look like part of the text on the PDF is missing.

I have recently gotten a lot of “Invalid URL” error messages with files that are displayed fine by “embedder” or simply using the URL in a separate tab in a browser. Any insights ?

I just installed the PDF Viewer plugin. I works great. One issue:
The plugin displays my form at full width when I include width=100% as a shortcode attribute, which is perfect, width-wise. However, the plugin does not display the full height of the form, but shows about 60 – 70 percent of the height with a vertical scroll bar for scrolling through the full height of the form, which does work perfectly.

Is there a way I can get the plugin to display the full height of the form, instead, without a need for vertical scrolling within the viewer?

When I add a height=100% attribute, instead of working correctly, the height of the viewer shrinks way down to display about 10% of the form. No, I didn’t accidentally type height=10%.

Hi, when using it on desktop, the search icon show however when i use it on mobile, the search icon is hidden. I understand that this is due responsiveness, but the search is very important for me on mobile. Is there any way to keep the search icon visible on mobile OR at least move it to the hidden menu (>>)

Inspecting a page containing an embedded PDF in Pingdom, and there are HEAPS of requests for the same file. I suspect this is related to the number of pages in the PDF, and it being downloaded bit by bit?

PDF VIEWER works great except on IE 11 on our Windows 2012 Terminal Server. It just displays a dark blank page, but works in Firefox.
Sounds like a setting in IE.
Any ideas on what IE settings need to be change?

When I print out any of the PDFs from my page using the Print button on the PDF Viewer, it prints only on the top part of the page and you end up with documents 3 times their normal link. I tried printing what’s normally a one-page document and it has printed over 3 pages, with only the top section of each page printed on. Using IE11. Is there a way to fix this?

Alternatively I could hide the print button completely. How would I do this? I saw someone had asked a similar question on a thread that’s now closed. I have the same problem as him – when I tried to comment out the button HTML, the PDF disappears from the viewer completely.

I’m using the free version of your plugin from the WordPress repository, version 0.1.

Just wanted to let you know that if you are on the /wp-admin/plugins.php page of your WP site, and you use the checkbox next to PDF Viewer and then select either Activate or Deactivate on the pull down and then press the Apply button, it doesn’t work with your plugin. There’s a bug. Instead of working, it says “Are you sure you want to do this?”

Hi, so we run both HTTP and HTTPS, as a result when a page uses the PDF viewer plugin and a user views the page via https but the pdf is linked using http, it causes a cross-origin request error.

Is there a way to give PDF Viewer a relative link so a person visiting from http or https will see receive the proper pdf link in the viewer, thus avoiding the cross-origin request error?

Hi great plugin,

I would like the PDF that is loaded to display at the height the PDF document is.

I have tried putting 100% in the height but it makes a very large whitespace before the footer.

These pdfs are tall newsletters that can be 3000px tall.

is this possible?

New to Pdfviewer so this is probably pretty simple, but…I want to be able to click on my thumbnail and go to a “blank” page with just the pdf viewer. In other words, where do I place the pdf viewer shortcode?
