“There has been a critical error on this website.”
This plugin has worked well for a long time up until now. I am getting the error only on the page where I am embedding a PDF (the rest of the website works correctly). Disabling the plugin removes the error, but only displays the following shortcode:
[tnc-pdf-viewer-iframe file=”https://www.solutionstart.info/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Tech-Times-2024-Q1.pdf” width=”100%” height=”800″ pagemode=”none” default_zoom=”auto” default_scroll=”0″ default_spread=”0″ language=”en-US” download=”1″ print=”1″ fullscreen=”0″ zoom=”1″ open=”0″ pagenav=”0″ find=”0″ current_view=”1″ share=”0″ toggle_left=”0″ toggle_menu=”0″ rotate=”0″ logo=”0″ handtool=”0″ scroll=”1″ doc_prop=”0″ spread=”0″]

I use the setting that will show any .pdf file in a viewer. Recently I noticed that when I view the file, the download and print features are no longer present. Both download and print are set in my global settings and were working before.
I have defined one viewer I use for newsletters. All of the features I set are showing fine in the toolbar of that viewer.
Can you please advise why the toolbar with download and print no longer show in automatic viewers when .pdf files are inserted into a wordpress page?
Thanks,
Robin
]]>Good morning, I don’t understand why when I upload a pdf file and try to view it it says ‘cannot find page’.
thanks
]]>When I click on the linked image to open the pdf file in the browser, the pdf file can not be opened with an error message and starts to be downloaded. This error does not occur in all pdf files, some pdf files are opened.
I think there is an incompatibility between Internet Download Manager and PDF Viewer.
Hi– I cannot find anything in the documentation about being limited to five viewers in the free version. I bought the Divi PDF addon to get things working, and now I’m seeing that if I go to five viewers, I have to buy the Pro TNC flipbook/viewer for another fee? Is this true?
Thanks for letting me know?

]]>I am just starting to use TNC PDF (free) with Divi Theme. When I edit a text module, I can choose the Add PDF viewer and pick the right viewer in the drop down. But when I click “Insert PDF viewer”, it doesn’t complete…and just sits there. Is there a trick to using it with Divi? (I had Wordfence turned on for security, but disabled it to see if that was blocking the insert function. Still no success).
Thanks for any help,
Rick
When opening the pdf viewer, the top part is hidden by the menu. How can I solve this as now it is impossible for the user to close the pdf viewer or change any settings.
Thank you
]]>Hi:
I don’t want support, I only want to inform to you.
When I installed the new version, the screen displays several warnings inside of the PDF iframe, at the begining of it.
I can’t to share an URL because I only have a production site with active clients. I only want to warn you.
With the embeds using the new system that uses a post type, I get this errors inside the Iframe:
Warning: Undefined array key “advanced-oxygen-integration” in /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pdf-viewer-for-wordpress/includes/helper-functions.php on line 459
Warning: Undefined array key “appearance-disable-flip-sound” in /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pdf-viewer-for-wordpress/web/pdf-viewer-single.php on line 32
With embeds made with initial versions that not uses a custom post types (I preferred that system), I get this warnings:
Warning: Undefined array key “appearance-disable-flip-sound” in /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pdf-viewer-for-wordpress/web/viewer-shortcode.php on line 77
Warning: Undefined array key “appearance-select-toolbar-style” in /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pdf-viewer-for-wordpress/includes/scripts.php on line 891
Warning: Undefined array key “appearance-icon-size” in /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pdf-viewer-for-wordpress/includes/scripts.php on line 892
Hi there,
I help develop the Independent Analytics plugin and we just added an integration with PDF Viewer tracking views. This was working with version 1.20, but has stopped working properly with the release of version 1.30.
When viewing a PDF page now, the WordPress function is_404() is evaluating as true, so the issue is likely related to a change in the permalinks.
]]>I’m loving the PDF Viewer but just recently I’m getting this error message:
PDF.js v2.7.570 (build: f2c7338b0)
Message: Failed to fetch
I’ve tried a lot of tinkering with other plugins etc. with no success. If there is any idea of what this problem is, please let me know.
I have to use another plugin at the moment
Many thanks!
DM

]]>Hello ladies and gentleman! ??
Important things first – your pdf-viewer is really great; thank you for it! ??
After all, i detected a bug/problem; when i select a .pdf file from my libary – which has whitespaces in the .pdf-filename the viewer doesnt work. So when i visit die individual file-url like /pdfviewer/12345 my wordpress site shows me “page not found 404”. It took me a while to figure it out, that the problem is caused of the whitespaces in die pdf-filenames but i found it out anyway ((:
So i just wanted to let you know about this bug and hopefully you can patch it in near future (:
thanks & reagrds
