Hey I’m having issues with PDF Poster on the backend of my site. I recently migrated to Rocket for hosting but they’ve assured me they are seeing no issue on their end.

I can see the PDFs on the frontend but can’t edit any of them or add new posts containing the block because it says the block is unsupported.

i would like to change the default zoom level of a loaded PDF to “page-fit” or “actual” instead of default “auto” if z URL.z has no value or the value is not defined.

In previous version I modified pdf-poster\pdfjs-new\web\custom.js line: 225 (“PDFLoaded”) and it worked fine with no console errors but in the latest version (2.1.23) I can’t seem to find a simple solution to this problem. I get console error <#setScale: “0” is an unknown zoom value> whenever the page with a hidden pdf is loaded. The PDF is hidden until a user completes the contact form.

I tried to modify this part of code in pdf-poster\pdfjs-new\web\custom.js line: 283 in a new version but nothing works:

Wordfence has found a vulnerability with this plugin!

There is no url present as you must be logged in to view the pages.
I’ve been using the PDF Poster plugin without issue for years, and last week it started giving the origin error.

Before anyone says use Really Simple SSL, I think that is what broke this. At least it was the last plugin added, so I can’t say for sure but seams like it. I found a youtube video that states it must have www. in the url, which this site doesn’t have but it’s been working for years on this url.

Before I toss it and use another plugin, anyone have a suggestion? I’ve emailed them for support but nothing yet.

I use the plugin for my client and it does exactly what they need.

Hi, the full screen button of the reader doesn’t work in iOS 15 devices.

Both the full screen button and presentation mode don’t work in iOS 16 and 17.

I’d like to know if this is because the plugin hasn’t been updated or the reader has certain system requirement for devices. Thank you.

Is it possible to enable Allow print option in block editor by default for all new PDFs?

We’ve been using the PDF Poster plugin for quite some time on our WordPress website. However, after the recent WordPress core and PDF Poster plugin updates, we noticed that PDF Poster have broken the Avada theme Fusion Builder block on the admin panel of our WordPress website.

I appreciate that links embedded in the pdf can be clicked, this is great.

Is there a way to open those links in a new tab, so that the user does not exit the current website ? I know thi is not the best practice but that would be useful !

After upgrading to PHP 8.3 I see more than 35 Deprecated Errors for PDF Poster with the messages such as:

Creation of dynamic property PDFPro\Rest\GetMeta::$route is deprecated
Creation of dynamic property CSF_Metabox::$post_formats is deprecated
Creation of dynamic property CSF_Metabox::$page_templates is deprecated

is it possible to look into this issue?

Thank you for your extensions which correspond to our need.
I have a problem displaying PDFs: no more new PDFs are displayed. I tried with the last two versions of the extension and without WP Rocket but nothing changes.
What is weird is that all the old PDFs are displayed but not the new ones since February 2022 (last PDF that worked and still works).
