Hi, After our WP got hacked I backed up, and the uninstalled and deleted the PauPress plugin from the site du e to several reasons amongst not interested to upgrade to presspoint, several of the files where hacked and the plugin slowed down the site. BUT. I would need to grab most of the info that we used paupress for, info abput the users, I guess it is saved in a table somwhere. I do not want to install the backed up plugin with the risk of it being infected and bring the site down again. Is there anyone with an Idea on how I can retrieve the info/tables in another way, into a spreadsheat or so?
Regards.
]]>Ok, I know PauPro (for which I paid) has been discontinued, but its new version Presspoint is prohibitive.
During an upgrade, PauPro gave me the following error:
Fatal error: 'continue' not in the 'loop' or 'switch' context in /wp-content/plugins/paupro/paupro/paupro-actions.php on line 603
The solution that worked for me was to comment out the said line in the plugin’s code. That part of the code seems to be related to adding users. Maybe my change means I can’t add new users, but at least I gain back access my PauPro database and everything appears to work fine again.
Don’t hesitate to comment if you have a better workaround — Alex
]]>Hi,

Helen
After installing the free version all my existing users went missing. In other words my user list did not show. Is there something I am missing or do ineed to export my users then re-import.
thanks
Hi,
I would like to enquire if it possible to manage user fields from buddypress extended profile, or sync these extended profile into standar wp user table so it can be managed there. Let me know even it will be a paid customize effort.
Thanks
Farid
The Pro version is imho quite expensive. Especially for non-profit and/or small organizations.
I’ve been asked to create a CRM solution for a youth big band. It’s a band of about 50 teenagers who love to make music. The band has already a long tradition, so there is a huge list of old band members.
So not for any profit, but just a good CRM solution would be very helpful for them. But they can’t afford $550 for the Pro version.
Isn’t there a possibility to buy just some add-ons? Like only Search User History & Actions or Front-end Registration, Login and Account Management for a fixed price?
Again, E-Commerce Engine, Google Geolocation, E-Mail Marketing Engine & MailChimp Synchronization and even the guaranteed support isn’t necessary for this big band.
Hope you will consider this!

]]>Hi I have installed your plugin all ok, but I am having an issue with drop down lists.
When I create a drop down list, only the first item in that list is saved!?
If I chose a any other selection down the list and save it returns with a blank selection!?
Is there a fix to this??
]]>Do you (PauPress author) really won’t allow the administrator to be able to delete a user off of his WordPress user management? I can’t find any other information about deleting a user than by using the bulk feature under EDIT, but this is a pro feature…
Next question:
How to uninstall PauPress completely from a WordPress installation, without the need to set it up from scratch?
Hello,
besides its connectability with MailChimp, I’d like to know if PauPress has an autoresponder feature included and how it works? I can’t find information about that feature.
]]>Hi,
If I need to record some kind of credentials eg hosting login information or access to some other service…
Is there any way to encrypt this information in the database? Good practice would be to encrypt this so it is never stored in plaintext, and use some kind of decryption in the PHP. I would expect this is a very common need.
Thanks for your time!
]]>Hi.
Thanks for the Awesome CRM!
I want to use this plug-in on multi-site.
So, I want to import/export the Manage Fields.
Or, I want to reflect the setting of Main-site to Child-site. (Please support, such as Add-on or Pro version)
Thank you.
]]>Hi, is there any option to plot the contacts on a Google map? Besides exporting the postcodes and uploading to a maps plugin?
]]>Hi,
Thanks for the plugin. Currently using the free version, though inactively. We have several certain requirements, and would be SO happy to buy the plugin if they’re met.
– Can I add subscribers to a certain list, based on certain zip codes they have? This needs to be done automatically, not manually.
if "X,Y,Z" zipcodes; then add to the list "L"
– Can I schedule emails to be sent to a certain address with users’ certain data, everyday?
– If answers to above are negative, can we get a help for fixes?
Thank you very much!
Emin
I use the Groups plugin and sell subscriptions. Subscribers are assigned to groups for the duration of their subscription. Before I installed PauPress the Users screen would show me which group each user was a member of. Now it does not. How do I get it to display this information again?
]]>Hi Havahula
I was trying your plugin in a new project, and found it very handy. However, one thing I found bothering me is that, the required field is not working as it is should.
That is, I can submit a form without writing anything in any field, inspite of having a few required fields.
I was expecting that, when there are required fields, we get an alert preventing the submission of the form and asking us to fill up the required fields.
What do you think, is this is how paupress works (and in that case are you thinking of a solution here), or whether I did something wrong in the settings.
Thanks for your time and help.
Best.
I created a custom field and then navigated to Reports and selected the drop down to display searchable fields but none of the fields I created are appearing in that drop down. The website indicates this is NOT a Pro feature so I’m confused as to why they’re not appearing.
Thanks!
]]>When on “PauPress Options” > “Manage Fields”:
I don’t know if these are already on your radar but I’d like to know if you have an ETA as to when they’ll be patched, as these bugs cause me to take about 5-10 times longer than if they’re resolved (because I have to add fields one at a time currently and save in between each time I drag-n-drop).
Thanks!
]]>I was just wondering:
– Does Paupress allow listing users on a page in the front end of the blog (being able to generate a user user directory)? I’d very much like to be able to list users publicly and only allow some other users to see specific information about other users.
]]>As some of you might have noticed in this forum the past few weeks, I’ve been looking for a plugin of some sort that allows me to have users register, and then let other users do searches on my site where the fields of the users registration-form is indexed along side all the other information on my site…. and then I found PauPress! :))))
PauPress seem to have all the features I need for my demo-site (which is key for us to sell our idea and get our project funded)but there is something I can’t get my head wrapped around.
I tried to create a field of my own in the register-form, and this field is supposed to have a radio-button list of different job-titles. (Has to be multi-choice because some people have more than one skill)
I tried over and over again, but it won’t list it. Only the last input will show when I go to “My Profile” to see how it looks. (Some other fields will not show either, such as address.)
But then I “surrendered” and dragged the “Categories” box into the first coulmn section and with all my job-titles registered as tags in my WP-categories I’m happy to say that they now show! But so does ALL the other categories I have on my site….. This is NOT what I want ??
I love this plugin, and have tried for days now to make this “interaction” between registration and search-function work out.
Could someone plz help me out here? I’m at my wits end now… :/
]]>Hi – minor bug report.
PauPress generates lots of 404-Not found errors. It keeps looking for
?/wp-content?/plugins?/user-avatar?/css?/user-avatar.css?ver=3.6.1
that doesn’t exists.
Thanks — Alex
]]>Hi – my feature request before we go Pro:
The ability to display the latest interactions from user’s ‘History’ in the ‘User Reports’ list.
That interaction could take the simple form of “Date: Title”. CRM is all about what’s happening with contacts. Currently in PauPress, it’s difficult to access our latest interactions with our contacts: we have to (1) go to user list, (2) find and click on user, (3) select the History tab. That’s too many steps. Just going to ‘User Reports’ would be much more efficient and provide an overview. I already foresee myself sorting the list by “oldest date of last interaction”.
Editorial note:
I like PauPress and we’re seriously considering going Pro despite PauPress having shortcomings (such currently as no integration with iCal-standard calendars). I’ve tested all WordPress CRM in the past week, and PauPress is in my opinion the best at the moment. There’s really a business opportunity lying right there since the intersection of CRM and WordPress is lacking at the moment, and PauPress may take the lead. Good luck! — Alex
Hi, minor bug report.
When clicking on ’email’ in the ‘User reports’ list, the mailto command fails. Probably because there’s a space between mailto and the email address.
Example: “mailto: [email protected]” … the space between the : and the actual address might be what breaks it.
Cheers — Alex
]]>I’m trying out PauPress, looks pretty good for what I need. Problem with copying shortcode on the form edit page. In Firefox (sorry, it is my preferred browser) the copy/paste options are greyed out on right-click, and can’t select the text. Just tried firing up Chrome, and it works fine.
