Good morning.
It looks like the plugin is currently not working with PHP 7. It simply produces a white screen when enabled (admin access still works).
I did some digging and it looks like the new error handling, introduced in PHP 7, is the culprit. It collides with the Error class from this plugin.
Any chance that this can be fixed?

I am trying to remove the password protection on my website by deactivating the plugin but it creates errors on my website. Also, I purged the cache before deactivating and it made no difference.

Using the premium version. About half of users are unable to log in and the other half can log in. Unfortunately, there is no error messages for those that cannot log in. I’m using Bluehost with no caching plugins so I’m at a loss and have not heard back from the developer. Wishing now I had not purchased two license keys.

Wanh!!! Im so frustrated! (ok, deep breath). So, I have a couple of problems.

I have figured out–I think?!–how to set up a plugin so that I can use shortcakes, and so I guess maybe thats working? but: I can’t seem to figure out how to actually *hide* my content…when I look at the preview of a post, I can see the password field, and I can see the message that I wrote to go with it, but the text I am trying to hide, is still visible. So I must not be doing something properly.

And finally, how do I actually *set* a password? I have gone through the settings over and over again, but I can’t seem to find out how to actually set or designate the password!! So while in “preview” mode, the password field does show up, I can’t submit the correct password, because I haven’t figured out how to actually create or set the password.

Ugh. sorry I’m so terrible at explaining the extent to which i am confused and don’t know what I’m doing :/

Hi there

I’m running a large multi-site (18 sites). I want to use this plugin for just one of them. I need to have 100+ passwords that will be emailed out to users once my content is available.

I installed the plugin a few minutes ago and it applied a ‘private blog’ login across all 18 so I had to delete from plugins folder double quick!

What can I do to prevent this? How do I buy the premium version to access the extra features I need?

Okay, it has been a while and stiil I can’t find what I want.

I did try one plugin and it didn’t work. Here is my problem and need:

I have several pages and can only password protect them with a single password. That means I need to issue several passwords to my members. NOT GOOD. I have some members who have access to all pages and some that are restricted to certain pages. I need a multiple password plug in that will allow those with complet access to enter the same password for all pages, those with restricted access can only access those pages having an additional password, etc.

Where can I find such a plug in? Note: My entire site IS ALREADY username/password protected by the server. I need page password protection only.

I’d love to see this plug-in utilize the OG-TITLE and OG-IMAGE meta tags and bypass the password for sharing on Facebook. For example, when sharing a URL on Facebook, this script would show the “Featured” image as “OG-IMAGE” and share the regular post title as “OG-TITLE”. This would allow me to share my private posts on Facebook and get the information cached there, but people would still have to enter a password to actually view the post on my site.

I have the latest plugin and wordpress. I am set up on a multi-site and the plugin works great on all of the sites after the main site.

On the main site tho, after I put in the correct password, all it does is redirect to xxxx.com/?login and shows me the home page.

Any help would be appreciated and this is the premium version.

Even if the login form is well design and should fit corriectly inevery mobile phone screen that is above 320 px width, on my android nexus 4 the login form appears very small and i have to pinch to zoom to be able to insert the password (and even the focusing of the text field s not optimal, i have to double tap before the ekyboard open).
I’m not a big expert, but could it be due to the fect that is missing a correct definition of the meta viewport?
It could be setted wthout problem as initial scale 1 and not scalable, given that the form would fit correctly every phone from the firts iphone onward.

1. Photos on the unprotected home page are not displayed until a visitor logs in.
2. I have Dashboard open in one tab and the blog in another. When I log out of the “Private blog”, I am also logged out of the WP dashboard on the other tab!

Hello I am using this plugin on an online store site. I am using the plugin to block certain URL patterns (works good), however it is also blocking my shopping cart & checkout pages (not so good).

Even if I change the url pattern to something else or change it any other setting (like, posts, pages, etc) it will always block the cart & checkout pages. I have tried adding the word art & checkout to the do not protect list and also tries turning off custom permalinks altogether and still the same result.

Not sure what I can do to fix the problem?

I have 2 passwords set , one for myself to always use and another for some other users i only want to grant access a limited times. I plan on changing the secondary password frequently.

I am testing this out , just purchased the upgraded version using WP4.0

If i go into the settings panel of the app and change the secondary password , i would assume that users logged in using the old password would be locked out of the site , once they refresh or in my case as a test , doing some hard refreshes. But after changing the password , i can still able to refresh the site , see new changes on the page while logged in under the old password. I do not have any cache plugins installed at this time.

Any ideas how to bounce the user off to login screen when the existing password is changed ? If i clear the browser cache it goes back to login , but i’d assume normal users never clear their browser cache.

Two style questions, about skipping a separate login screen.

1. Is it possible to have the login screen appear in a normal body area, with navigation etc still visible?
2. Is it possible to use a right-widget area for a small login form? So visitors are able to login directly, without a separate login screen. The login button than functioning as a link to the hidden page?
