Hi,

I have created a website with your nice parallax section block using it for all header images. But since some time it works in frontend but in backend I get the error “Your website does not support the “Parallax Section” block. You can try to install this block, convert it into an individual HTML block or remove it completely.”
I have tried to deactivate and reactivate the plugin: no change.
I also can not add a new parallax section block. It’s just not available.

I’m working with the current version of WordPress 6.6.2

I installed parallax box in many Post pages on my website. It was working brilliant , however, suddenly some of the BG images started to NO show completly when the following settings

Full width (on main box)

auto (on image settings)

scroll

min height size (700) although sometimes is less

when I run the website I see grey background on each side of the display regardless of size of picture. it seems to work with images sizes superior to 2500 px though

I have loaded the plugin, everything actually works.

However, I only want the image, no text and no button on it. So I delete the 3 things: Heading, paragraph and button.

When I load the page or do a reload, all 3 items are there again.

Bug? Or why do these dummy texts keep reappearing?

We’re working on a site that has your parallax plugin but we also have a YouTube embedded video on the page (see https://app-cprd-flatholmart.azurewebsites.net/#:~:text=Trip%20to%20the%20lighthouse) but when your plugin is active the youtube video doesn’t display. With your plugin deactivated the youtube video displays correctly.

We’re getting a syntaxerror when the plugin is activated and this seems to be stopping the last part of the page from displaying which includes an image slider

Just installed and activated the plugin, and am trying to put it on my main home page. After placing the block, I get the message displayed as the block’s content:

“This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.”

I saw someone had a similar, but different error (height), and it was fixed by a version update. So not sure if I’m doing something incorrect. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi!

I found the plugin really easy to use which is a big plus. I have a couple of concerns though:

1. The container doesn’t have any height set on page load (the style only gets added after React renders the component) which leads to a large cumulative layout shift. That doesn’t happen with the core Cover component.
2. Depending on React adds additional ~50kb to the assets which might be a concern under certain conditions.

I’m getting the following error message when attempting to place a parallax block on a page: “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.” Any suggestions on how I can trouble shoot this?

I’m running WP 6.1.1 on a local server if that info helps any.

I have Blog, Woo and a lot more running. WP-Optimize also and it tends to affect alot on sites if they are fully compatible, but here I am lost and don’t know what’s causing it.

Ok, it has been working perfectly since installation but suddenly the parallax images have stopped displaying.

Earlier there was a shortpixel error but it’s gone away after plugin update. I’ve tried deactivating other plugins. The only change I know of is the auto update of WordPress.

I am getting white space before (top) and after (bottom) the Parallax Section block and cannot find a way to remove it.

I have a Cover Block before the Parallax Section Block and a Row Block after it. When I completely remove the Parallax Section Block the white space is gone meaning it is coming from the Parallax Section Block.

I tried nesting the Parallax Section Block within a 1-column Row block to utilize the Remove Top Spacing and Remove Bottom Spacing Toggles in the Advanced Section in the Row block Settings but this didn’t work. It did remove the white space but completely rendered the Parallax effect inoperative.

Can someone help please?
