hello. Could you please help me with align the image container to display full and not cropped on one side? Thank you
]]>Hello, I am facing an issue with getting the image to parallax on a mobile display. It seems that the code I’m currently using may be incorrect. Could you kindly provide me with the correct code or method to achieve parallax on mobile devices? Thank you very much.
]]>I have this plugin (v1.8) installed w/ WP 6.4.3 and the Free Neve Theme. The page will not load on a mobile device and the mobile menu won’t open but it’s fine on a desktop. As soon as I disable this plugin, everything else works as expected. From Dev Tools Console I am getting this error: Element.setCapture() is deprecated. Use Element.setPointerCapture() instead.
]]>Hi. Firstly, love the plugin! I seem to have run into a slight issue where the parallax image is jumping up the page behind the text. It doesn’t seem to happen all the time, and usually when reloaded it sorts itself out but I was just wondering if you had any thoughts on what could be the problem?
I use parallax images on a few other pages but the link above seems to be the one that has the issue? I’ve seen it happen on a couple of other pages but it just seems to be a page load thing that sorts out once fully loaded.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Robbie
]]>Hello.
Great plugin .. When will the Gutenberg block come?
Regards
I am having an issue where right before the image is scrolled to it jumps inwards creating a moment of white space. if you are right in front of the section and refresh you’ll see the effect of white space.
]]>After update to wordpress 5.6 parallax plugin is not working correctly any more. I have enjoyed the plugin, not looking forward to switching to another plugin. Can you have a look?
The parallax image is now a big blank gap, see https://www.brug.nu and https://www.brug.nu/dopen

]]>I have had this plugin installed and work for 3 month now only to notice that my images with parallax are not showing or visible and similar objects with css animation do not appear in live mode.
As side this i realised that when i preview my site under theme customisation, my site appears as i should with all parallax images showing with effects.
Please advise
]]>First of all I would like to thank you for this great plugin. It makes adding a parallax image so easy.
When using plugin version 1.7.1. position=”center” not working. The image remains left aligned. Changed out to the previous version 1.6.1 and position=”center” works.
Not sure if this is a bug or my theme – I use Genesis with the Sample Child theme.
]]>Hi,
I like your plugin but can’t get it to work correctly for mobile devices.
This is the page: https://marilynnpreston.com/homepage-new/ password: bdd
I uploaded a second image for mobile use but it’s still not right. The image gets distorted. It’s out of proportion, the height is wrong and it overlaps part of the page content that follows below.
I hope you can help.
Thank you
]]>I am trying to make the paralax image into the empty white space but it keeps being place above it and I dont know why.
]]>There’s an edge case where the plugin conflicts with previews of forms in Ninja Forms as the preview uses the home page to display the preview. Should the homepage contain the shortcode, the js is enqueued but will fail as Ninja Forms does not display the content of the home page.
The fix would entail changing the code in dd-parallax-offset.js in order to check for the existance of $(‘.parallax-section, .parallax-mobile’).
For example :
jQuery(document).ready(function ($) {
var parallaxSection = $('.parallax-section, .parallax-mobile');
if (parallaxSection.length != 0) {
var pxcontentOffset = parallaxSection.offset().left;
$('.parallax-content').css('left', '-' + pxcontentOffset + 'px');
$(".px-mobile-container").each(function () {
var i = $(this).attr("data-factor") * $(window).width();
$(this).css("height", i + "px")
})
}
});

So I’ve noticed recently that when using the scroll wheel on my mouse to scroll on my homepage, which uses the parallax plugin, that it is very badly jumpy/jittery. Although it’s fine if using the scrollbar.
This happens the worst in Chrome and Opera but is seemingly ok in Firefox and Edge. BUt it wasn’t happening like this in any browser before a month or two ago. I’m not sure when it began happening as I haven’t been checking my site that often over the past while, the only big thing I can recall is updating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 but I didn’t think that would really cause this!
]]>Hi
I just made a site for my brother in law. I made a parallax image here. It works great on desktop, but:
I can’t seem to get it working on mobile, (it just renders the image without scrolling). Any tips would be welcolme please?
I have to use trial and error to position the image versus other content blocks, sometimes getting a large blank space below the parralax ‘window’ (which I dont want). How do I ensure the parallax window is anchored to the top or bottom of another block on the page? Indeed any tips on positioning relative to other elements would be very helpful (it would be nice to have image behind a paragraph or quote text for example).
I used this code in a Shortcode block:
[dd-parallax img=”c20181225_123350.jpg” height=”300″ speed=”3″ z-index=”-100″ mobile=”c20181225_123350.jpg” offset=”true”]
[/dd-parallax]
The theme is Himalaya by TheThemeGrill (which itself is supposed to be Parrallax but not on subpages/ general page templates it seems, or at least I havent figured it so I am trying Parallax Image. Thanks for making this!)
It may be that my source image is too wide?
Please go easy on me I am not a programmer..
Thank you in advance
RitchieB
I’m having problems with the plugin when using tablets and mobiles – the images are overlapping text blocks following the image. I have tried switching to the Twenty Nineteen theme, but that makes no difference. Any ideas?
]]>Hi,
before all let me thank you for this very useful plugin!
I’m having troubles with my website as the images loaded on mobile are working almost fine just with smartphones in portrait orientation. On landscape the images are not filling all the width available… I tried to apply a “background-size:cover” CSS rule but with no success… (also the images on portrait are a little bit stretched, they are not resized proportionally).
Can you help me please? How can I make the images take all the available space regardless of orientation and preserving their proportions?
Thank you,
Nicola
Hi, the plugin seems not working properly on mobile: I used the following shortcode on my page:
[dd-parallax img=”anguria.jpg” height=”350″ speed=”5″]
but on mobile, the image appears distorted, and it covers the text below.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks a lot
Error while viewing on Mobile Devices.
Here is the error:
“Warning: Division by zero in /wp-content/plugins/parallax-image/assets/shortcode.php on line 101”
How do i fix this? This is very urgent.
]]>I have a strange situation with my parallax images that just started happening yesterday. I realized I needed to set the z-index parameter to -100 so that the portion of my dropdown menus that extend over the parallax image at the top of the page would be visible. On the page above, the only item I changed in the shortcode was the z-index, from 0 to -100, as below. After saving, there is just a blank screen where the image was previously. The image is still there, I can see it in the code using Chrome’s inspector, but nothing is visible on desktop or mobile.
[dd-parallax img=”HRrotatedLighton-Parallax-image.jpeg” height=”370″ speed=”2″ z-index=”-100″ position=”center” offset=”false” mobile=”https://dev.medrock.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/MedRock-Mobile-Logo-Screen.png”%5D%5B/dd-parallax%5D
The same thing happened on three other pages when I updated the shortcode parameters. Here’s one page that I haven’t updated, it’s fully visible.
https://dev.medrock.com/therock/
[dd-parallax img=”TheRock-Parallax-image-around.jpeg” height=”550″ speed=”2″ z-index=”3″ position=”center” offset=”false” mobile=”https://dev.medrock.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/MedRock-Mobile-Logo-Screen.png”%5D%5B/dd-parallax%5D
I’ve tried but failed to find anything in common between the pages that failed after saving. Do you have any troubleshooting suggestions?
]]>This is a great plugin, easy to implement. Is there a way (undocumented options, CSS) to have the fixed image for mobile apply just for mobile and not for iPads?
Thanks,
Dawn
I added [dd-parallax img=”https://localhost:8888/Kayorgroup/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/city_image.jpg” height=”450″ speed=”3″ z-index=”-100″ mobile=”mobile-image.jpg”] [/dd-parallax]
to the page and the image is displaying correctly, but there is a grey area between nav menu and the parallax img. Looks like a spacer when building the website in “Edit page” even though the page starts with the “parallax code” is there any way to remove it? I tried changing “height” parameter but it only stretches the image and the grey area stays the same.
I add the [dd-parallax img=”image.png” height=”600″ speed=”3″ z-index=”-100″ mobile=”image.png”][/dd-parallax] to widget but the image is not display.
If I ll add the above code to the page the image and parallex effect is displayed normally.
Can I add to the widget? If yes how?
P.S. Theme is custom.
]]>Hi,
I’m using this plugin on JpintsWP theme and it’s works fine.
I have a problem when using accordion element.
This is how it should be (the “EXHIBITIONS” div is on the parallax image):
https://ibb.co/cwnj613
And when i open the accordion element(at the top of the page) the upper div(with the logos) get on top of the parallax background image:
https://ibb.co/RzNdXRB
When I resize the page or when I close the accordion it’s getting fine again.
How can i fix that?

]]>Hi,
first of all thanks for your plugin.
I’ve a little problem with the image in the blog page (posts). The other images in the standard (static) pages work as expected.
On the blog page, at a certain point the image stop moving and the content start scrolling over it.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Kind regards,

Hi there, I’m using this plugin for the first time.
Text does not appear unless the z-index is 0.
I have the theme called Customizr.
I hope you can help.
Thanks.
]]>Hi! Im tryingo to add an image with the parallax effect but the image doesn’t show. I already try with the z-index=10000 and checked the image name. Is this something about the theme? I know it has special gallery features.
Thanks
Hello, I would like to implement the parallax effect in my posts. Therefore I need to adjust the width of the image (probably 600).
Is there a way of doing so right now?
Thank you!
