The plugin is broken for WordPress 4.8. I’m currently looking for another product so I can continue updating my site, but until they release a fix you won’t be able to do anything. I’ll update the review if they ever fix it.

I installed this plugin when I built the site a year ago. It worked well and was easy to use.

However, now that some of the features are only active with a paid subscription, my site is having all kinds of problems, including pages that only link to blank pages.

I built my website for a small business which uses it for their customers to make online payments and accept new customers with an online form. They haven’t been able to accept any payments for the last week because of this. They don’t want to pay extra for a feature that was originally free and I don’t blame them. They are a small business who wanted a website made and couldn’t afford the thousands of dollars required to pay some big company to make one. I’m no expert, admittedly, but this plugin has caused me a mountain of headaches and now I have to basically redo their website since half the pages no longer exist and the page editor is the source of the problem.

I understand that everyone is out here to make a living but part of the reason I used this plugin was because of all the features offered in the free version. Now the 3 or 4 features I used most are no longer available without payment so my website a mess and my customers are very frustrated.

Updated MiniMax to 2.0.3. Breaks layout of existing page. Visual editor doesn’t save p-tags and others anymore. Textual editor no more available.

Tons of frontend-editing-code you can’t turn off if unnecessary.

Version 1.9.0 seems to work for us. But, is it still secure? Was it ever secure?

I liked this plugin before I moved to another domain.
Note that you can’t migrate with this plugin! Especially if you developing your website localy! Strongly recomend you not to use it otherwise you will encounter a lot of bugs like this.

Pro doesn’t resolve the issue… Usless…

The Rich Text Module no longer allows the visual area & drag and drop to be functional – since WP 4.3 update

I have reached out for help -without ever receiving any kind of answer – very disappointing!

Really wish for some support – we have no problem purchasing the full license copy – we just need a solution.

Really great Plugin, but with too much bugs for production envoirenment.
– No SEO Plugin compatibility (YOAST etc.) because of base64 Encoding in Database.
– Image insert Layerconflict in Backend
editor, because of z-indexes which where discussed already 2 years ago.
– Sometimes Pages aren’t deletable.
– Big issues while migrating to another server becaue imagepathes are hardcoded with Base64encoding into Database (Serverpath not relative)

Just have a look at the support section.
Its a great Plugin with tooooo many Problems built in.

Shaon / wpEden should search for a debugging Team urgently.
Just have a look at the supportissues and the answers gotten.

Didn’t work with the HOTEC theme.

The plug-in itself works well and is helpful for building a site on the fly. However, the inline editing would not save at all, which was a big selling point of this plug-in.

In addition, I purchased the pro version from the site recently under the “Special Offer” that stated if you bought now, you would get all future updates for free. However, the Seller now states that his “terms of service” state that it’s a year license and must be renewed to get update. He refuses to even acknowledge the special offer claim on his site. Do not appreciate the deceptive practices to entice sale.

Also, be warned, your content is specifically tied to this plug-in. If you create pages/posts using Minimax and then deactivate it, the content you created using the plug-in will disappear. Which means you will need to keep the plug-in activated at all time. We discovered this when the plug-in had a conflict with another. Turned it off and all the pages we created were blank. Thankful we discovered it when we only had a half dozen pages created instead of the whole site. This alone makes the plug-in useless to us.

There is no direction with this plugin, the ReadMe is useless, and the videos are of such poor visual quality that nothing can be made out (music accompaniment, for heaven’s sake — not even any verbal explanation or instruction.) I have better things to do than try to deduce how this things work and what the terminology means.

Certainly not buying the “Pro” version.

Great plugin, love it! However the text in the image description field seems to be invisible when viewed in Safari and on iPads. It’s working fine on IE and Firefox. Any suggestions?

Using this plugin for a while. But faced some issue with Richtext editor. Updated my version recently and all issues are gone. Just aswesome.

Hi people!

I have a problem. I have WordPress 4.0, and Page Layout Builder is working well.

When I update from Page Layout Builder v1.5.1 to v1.7.7, the content of Page Layout Builder is not appearing in frontend, and also the modules are not appearing in the backend (but yes the layout).

If I return back to v1.5.1, it also works.

This Plugin sucks.
It brings you nothing, but faults.

If I activate it, I can’t formate my text, so I would do.
I have to mark it and switch between the options about “paragraph” and adress and it is not shure, that it works immediatelly.

I deactivate it.

I have tried this plugin, and it look pretty awesome, may be not so awesome like Visual Composer (but not so far).

However, while trying to edit row cols.. there is no way to remove or add cols to a specific row.

You may consider adding such feature.
