Clicking an image in this release (v4.7.1 and v4.7.2) results in the display of the full-size image against a full-screen opaque black background. How can I replace this functionality with a simple enlarged image displayed modally…?
Theme: DIY Thesis 2.2.4.
I have installed several lightbox plugins and one calling itself “modal” all with the same result. Do I have to alter code to do this…?
Help anyone…!
Thanks,
Cliff

This plugin is perfect for users that maintain a large amount of WordPress sites with multiple users. Not only does it resize all images after the plugin is installed, but it will resize any older images in your media library if you tell it to! It works great and I hope it is supported until the end of time because that’s how long I will be using it!

It’s very easy to configure and it will save you allot of disc space. No more slow loading of those big BMP files.
Also the bulk resize function is very useful, but it uses a lot of memory usage.

This plugin is very usefull for WordPress sites installed on a shared hosting account. Most times you just want to upload your photos/images directly, without thinking about the disk space it will take. This plugin resizes your (to large) images to a better size (1024 x 1024 by default) and removes the huge image.
Save disk space, save money ??
