I generally like this plugin a lot, however for some stupid reason my license keeps disabling itself a couple of times per day. So its a constant re-enabling again, super annoying.
Support just doesnt respond to any messages. Have to start looking for alternatives and would not recommend this to anyone!

The plugin works as described but the promo for paid version is excessive. The most annoying thing is we don’t even have an option to stop it from showing each time we login. It’s absolutely disgusting that you guys have decided to use our admin area as a banner spot. I for one do not pay you a penny for this reason.

There’s no support at all and while the plugin still works, it hasn’t been updated for the last 3 major WordPress versions and it has this really annoying ad that always tells you to upgrade to the premium version. I would gladly pay for a premium version if they start updating the plugin, provide support and stop those annoying ads.

I’ve had an open support ticket and have contacted them many times with absolutely no response. My client is getting very frustrated that they have a paid licence but are getting no support. Very poor.

While this plugin does the job well, there is a persistent ‘Try the premium version for 7 days for free!’ message in the dashboard that you cannot permanently disable.
Click the ‘No, thanks, not now’ button and the message will reappear in a few days.
Plugins like this that abuse WordPress notifications and run nagging ads are turning the dashboard into an ad-filled nightmare.
Please add an option to permanently remove the ad instead of constantly bugging us.

I checked a bunch of other plugins and was almost resolved to tackle the dreaded Mailchimp API myself. OptInPanda saved the day and allowed me to set up my email collecting ‘paywall’ quickly and easily.

Used to love this plugin but recently all of my readers have received an error to say ‘invalid resource’ when trying to sign up to my list.
I have to pay to get technical support. Don’t want to pay for a service that isn’t in working in the first place.

I used the free version and for a single locker I was happy and used to give this plugin 5 stars. It offers some features and simplicity most of the other content lockers don’t.
However, after encountering buggy behaviour when using TWO independant lockers and reporting it to them, I got no help. They recommend using their own support/ticketing system instead of the support forums here on www.remarpro.com, so that’s what I did. Their automated system response says: “Please, be patient, we will respond to your inquiry within 2 business days.”
After a week or so of no response, I sent in a second ticket. It took 30 DAYS before I got a response, and all it said was basically “sorry for the delay, do you still need help?”
I replied telling them to re-read the ticket as yes it’s still an issue. … NO REPLY FROM THEM SINCE.
Since then, WordPress 5 has been released and this plugin still shows as tested only up to 4.9.9 so.
SO, if you need one single locker, try out the free version. It seems to still work with WP 5, but like I mentioned above, more than one locker will not work as expected.

This plugin is easy to get setup. Once you activate it, the plugin takes you to a How to Use page that covers everything you’ll need to know. Configuring your opt-in content is easy because there are helpful guided tips every step of the way.

On the whole this works well, although as someone else has mentioned in reviews, it doesn’t seem to collect names even if this field is enabled. Possible people don’t enter their name of course. But support is non-existent. I have a question which is key to how I use this plugin – exactly what is unlocked when the user enters his/her e-mail? Is it this content this time/this content always/all content this time/all content always? There is, I think, an option regarding this, but I can’t make any sense of it. Despite getting an immediate auto response to my query saying I would have an answer within 1 business day, I’ve had nothing over 2 weeks later. If I knew how this worked, I think it would probably be worth upgrading to the paid for version.

I contact the OnePress support… he have one update, but only for the premium version…
– Now contact support and send me a new v1.4.3
