Here’s an update from the OpenTickets Team:
OpenTickets is EOL Dec 31, 2019
After four years of the OpenTickets project, we have made the decision to shut down the project effective June 25th, 2019. We have met amazing customers and have been impressed with the creative ways people use the software.
The decision was not an easy one. The decision came down to the major changes in WordPress 5.0 and changes in WooCommerce. The reality of supporting distributed, licensed software with those changes is that it became too expensive to support, with all the combinations of customer installations.
We would like to thank everyone who supported OpenTickets and provided valuable feedback. We truly appreciate it, and wish everyone the best in the future. The Contact Form will continue to work through the end of 2019.
-The OpenTickets Team.
—————
That being said, we would like to see if anyone would like to takeover the Community Edition, or perhaps several people.
A big thanks to, and asking if anyone would like to take this over:
@loushou – for years of code to the project
@bradleysp, @petervandoorn – thanks for bugs and testing over the years.
@ht-2, @luminia, @ton, @firgolitsch, @jtiihonen, @diplopito, @galapas – for translations of the software
If anyone would like to take over the project, please feel free to reply here, or reach out directly at info at quadshot.com .
Thanks to everyone who helped with this for the years of the project.

When using OTCE with Braintree For Woocommerce plugin for payments, the checkout page crashes, with huge credit card images appearing over and over down the page, until the server times out in what appears to be an infinite loop. The error started to occur with an update to the latest Braintree version 3.1.0. I’m posting this in both plugin forums in hopes that it can be resolved. Any suggestions?
]]>Hi @quadshot, @loushou & @coolmann.
I’ve seen some replies to other comments that you’re abandoning OTCE, but you haven’t made any public announcements, either here or on your website to this effect.
I’m asking as I’m hoping that this might not actually be true… I still hold out hope that you change your minds as I’ve always found that OTCE’s methods to be by far the best way of creating and selling events – especially the way that you use WC products.
Please let us know ASAP so that we can finally take the (sad) decision to move on.
Cheers
Peter
]]>Hello there,
Looking into using opentickets for webinar sign ups and like the idea that we can use this with Woocommerce and people can login and sign up for tickets etc.
I’ve installed the plugin and tested with and without the custom theme and the events are showing up as within the link. To me it appears they are a simple posts page without the buttons for the tickets or without any information about times etc.
Have checked the forums and cannot find anyone who has had a similar issue.
Any help would be great.
]]>There appears to be a bug with the plugin managing DST changes. The most recent time change here in the UK means that all courses are showing the incorrect start time, however the permalink is correct. Please can you advise how to fix this or provide an update to the plugin to resolve.

Can I get a list of event attendees in the frontend?
Thank you
]]>Hi!
I ran to feature/bug/real-life problem.
Tickets does not go old, in such way when their do-date is (let’s say 9.9.2019 at 5pm), the ticket is usable endlessly – which makes it use more time at door to check the ticket is to right show/time. Ticket should/could be so it has gone OLD/unusable after XX amount of time after show has started.
Is there way to make ticket go old after sum-amount-of-time after the show date-time?
Or could have it as new feature in future release, where everyone can set their own GO-OLD-time after show starting time?
Thanks in advance.
]]>I have downloaded the recommended qr droid that was mentioned in another forum post, but I’m still getting nothing but a jumbled bunch of letters when scanning.

I’m not sure what the problem is or how to fix it. Could someone help?
]]>Hi!
I’m having huge troubles with 24hrs format.
On calendar, no matter what settings I choose, it always shows time “5pm” or “12am”, when it should show 17:00 or 12:00.
I’ve tried to browse this help-forum for it, but there is no valid answer what’s wrong with it.
YES, I have tried to put on plugin settins “use 24-hour time” and also have tried to fix it thru the PHP custom provided – no help.
I do get it to show correctly on item-page, but not on Month-(or any other)-calendar view.
ALSO it shows that am/pm on events-page when tries to put up event-time.
Hi,
I’m trying to configure Open Tickets. But once I activate the plugin I’m not able to edit Product data in my Woocommerce products anymore. Is this a common problem and is there a solution? I’m using the newest version of Worpress/Woocommerce and OpenTickets.
]]>Hi guys,
I’m having a problem with your plugin, it must have come lately because I’m sure it did work before.
Updating quantity of tickets on the ticket page doesn’t work – it works in the basket though.
This is the example ticket page:
https://thehawksmoor.com/tickets/the-ultimate-thanksgiving/11-28_2019-700pm/
As you can see no matter how many you input there, it is always one ticket added to basket, then after you can change that in basket as usual, but it doesn’t work in single event page.
I have all the options setup correctly allowing to sell multiple tickets (both OTCE and Woocommerce) if you ask.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks you

Hello,
Selling tickets via de event-page works fine, we’ve been using it for a long time now. But I cannot find anywhere if it’s possible to buy tickets as a product through the Woocommerce store via the product detail page?
If a tickets is bought via the event-page, the event is automatically connected to the line-item in the cart. But if I order the product directly from the Woocommerce store, then the event is not connected. Can you please inform me if this is possible or not? And if possible, which settings I need to define?
As we need to register more information about the buyer of the ticket, Woocommerce offers a lot of flexibility to add additional fields etc.
Thanks in advance for the support! BR Ronald
]]>Hello!
I realize this may be related to the plugin not fully working in 5.0+ versions of WordPress, but I’ve noticed that when I go to OpenTickets -> Reports, then try to show a ticketing report for one of my events, it comes up with 0 tickets sold. No listings for first/last name, no emails…basically just “nothing”.
However, we’ve had over 150 tickets sold for the event, and they all appear in Woocommerce just fine. The orders, numbers of tickets remaining, etc. inside of Woocommerce is correct, but it doesn’t seem to be syncing with OTCE.
The side effect of this that I’m most worried about is ticket check-in. When scanning a QR code, I get the alert:
“Check-in FAILED! We could not find those reservations. Could not check them in.”
Likely because it can’t find the ticket in OTCE’s tables, although they exist in Woocommerce. Any suggestions to re-sync, and get the tickets showing up in OTCE?

Hello dear team,
I have the following entries in my debug log:
[04-Jul-2019 10:17:22 UTC] PHP Notice: Trying to get property ‘ticket’ of non-object in (…) / wp-content / plugins / opentickets-community-edition / inc / order / admin.class.php on line 616

And in addition, I have a problem when I edit orders manually or make refunds.
As soon as I disable the plugin everything works fine.
Can you help me?

I have noticed that Yoast SEO is blocking Event Date/Times on the event page, is there going to be an update to fix this?

Hey,
I’m making a website where we sell admission tickets for our foundation. Almost everything is just working fine. There’s one little problem to solve!
Some others had some troubles with this as well but couldn’t find out how to solve it myself.
When people are buying tickets they receive an email. In the email there’s a link to the ticket:
This one ain’t working because it sends people to a blog and not to a their ticket. Can anyone help me how to solve this. If you can, you are my hero for today!!!
Grtz

]]>Hi there!
Before I start I must admit that I am a real beginner on WP and don’t have any idea of the underlying technology…
I just started selling our first event via opentickets. However, already sold tickets are not shown in the visitor report of opentickets. When I check Woocommerce order list, everything is fine, however, sold products are not linked to any event.
I can manually correct this and link the orders to my event but still sold tickets are not shown in the report, thus # of tickets available remains at 100%.
Plugins are all up-to-date.
I would appreciate any help since the event date is getting closer ??
Cheers

Hi there,
I have recently installed this event plugin and am having trouble setting the price for events. I have created the event, venue and event area but when i go to create a price there is no option for me to select. The price section has a drop down menu to choose from but where do i make the prices to choose from?
My WordPress version is 5.1.1 which says it is up to date.

]]>Hi.
Still have the problem where I have to use classic editor in admin to do my pages, or they are blank.
I have just started using WorldPay as my credit/debit card processor, with openticket activated, blank screen on checkout, de-activate openticket, it works just fine, an issue I need to resolve rather quickly as I have tickets for sale online.
]]>Hi.
Today Europe went into summertime, which have resulted in serious problems with this plugin. ALL my events have been scheduled one hour forward in time. I have checked, and double checked all DST-setting and also tried to change the settings, but withput any results.
On todays event I had to phone attendees to inform them about the correct time, since it also showed the wrong time on them.
Please, this is urgent, how can I get the plugin to display the correct time for my events and on the ticket? People are buying ticket for the wrong event time right now.
Best regards.
Janne
There is no option box under “Event Date/Times” in the create new event page.
I have the latest version of Opentickets and I have created a product in woocommerce, plus venues and event areas.
(windows 10 home / Chrome browser / wordpress genesis framework / altitude theme )
Not working in Firefox either. Using the Divi Theme
I do not have SEO Plugins installed. eg. Yoast SEO
Any help greatly appreciated

]]>Hi,
I have a problem changing the number of tickets in an order
I have an order for 50 tickets which I have reduced to 40 in WC order details. Suddenly, it only appears with 30 tickets in OTC reports. If I change the order to 50 tickets again, there are still only 30 tickets on the order in the OTC report even though there are 50 tickets registered in WC order. It is the same in advanced tools. Now I have to reduce the capacity in event area with 20 tickets, to avoid selling too many tickets.
Versions:
WP 5.1
OTC 2.9.0
WC 3.5.6
Thanks in advance
]]>is it possible to import tickets list manually using csv in stead of generating it automatically ?
thanks
All installed, and all working great.
BUT,
When in admin, I go to the Pages option on the left to edit/add etc, select page or add new, takes me to a totally blank page.
I have to de-activate this plugin to edit anything.
]]>Hi,
So I run a small indie label, and we run events and sell tickets through our website. Everything worked well as far as getting fans purchasing tickets, but there were two issues after the confirmation was complete:
1- Several buyers said they didn’t get an email with a link to their product. I’m a WP novice, and have an optimized/hosted WP with HostGator, so forgive rookie questions. I’m assuming the email would be sent to the buyer via Woocommerce, rather than OpenTickets.
2 – When I went in to the Woocommerce orders page, I could se their details, along with a link to view all order tickets. When clicked on, it gave an error along the lines of “No tickets found for this order”. I was able to manually fix this by linking an event to the product on their order details page. By default, the item was not linked to an event.
So basically, I want to know what I missed when creating the event in the Opentickets Community plugin that caused the product to not be linked to the event.
I also noticed I have two event tabs on the left, one that seems to be the generic wordpress event calendar, and the one within Opentickets plugin.
Thanks for any help!
