Being of low IT IQ I went for the plugin rather than code. It does what it says, however it seems to like only one word at a time. Multiple inclusions seem to fail.
Cheers for the plugin.
]]>This hides selected tags very usefully with normal WP posts. However I’m using Events Manager plugin which creates a custom post (called ‘event’). Is there a way of applying the Oomph plugin to those? Or to custom post types generally?
]]>Hi,
Installed your plugin, and I can add the tags through the field under “Reading” page. But as soon as I save my changes to the “Reading” page, the tag disappears. It no longer shows up under the “Hidden Tags” section.
When I tag posts with the hidden tag, the tag still shows up in the list of tags on the site.
I am on WPEngine host. I have Object caching “on”.
Thanks for any help you can offer!
]]>Cool plugin, just what I was looking for.
A few things,
The interface to add hidden tags is not intuitive to find within WP (under Settings > Reading). This location is currently only mentioned on the Installation tab here, which most people don’t read. It would be nice if the plugin at least had a link added on the plugin’s links, in the plugin list table.
That’s my two cents. Thanks!
ps. love your widget cloning plugin ??
]]>Capable users (with the *see_hidden_tags* capability,) can see hidden tags in tag lists (but NOT tag clouds.)
Sorry, Can’t seem to figure this out:
1. Which users are ‘Capable users’?
2. Is “see_hidden_tags” a field created by this plugin? If yes, how do I know how this plugin sets up this capability?
Thanks
