We’ve been using Oliver for the past year and have generally been happy with it. The app looks good and the support team has been very responsive. Oliver POS has improved greatly during that time and we applaud them for it.
However, we’ve also had our fair share of crises with it. First it wouldn’t register the taxes, later not all of the products showed up and a couple of weeks ago we migrated our site, then our tech-person went on holidays and all of the orders were blank. They showed up as €0,00, without any products in them. After contacting the team, they told us we shouldn’t have migrated without letting them know if the URL changes. That however wasn’t quite clear to us before. Oliver also gives our webshop users an error message, but that’s likely an issue on our side and they’re investigating it. Other people on my team have reported that it can be really slow, it often shows the wrong prices and you need to refresh often.
So I think we’re generally favorable towards the programme, as it works quite well, feels intuitive and has good support (and is the best solution there is right now in our opinion), but at the same time if you’re in a startup or an organisation that changes a lot of things often yourselves keep in mind that you might sometimes have a bad time with it.

Me gustaría darle un 0 pero no se puede. Al principio iba perfecto después de una de las ultimas actualizaciones se fue todo al garete. No cobra bien las cosas pedidos duplicados no se sincroniza con woocomerce . Intentas hablar con ellos para soluciones y ni lo miran mas de 1 mes esperando respuesta y nada cada día les mando un mensaje que ni leen son unos sinvergüenzas.

The free version started out fine, service was fine, but once we bought the paid version the interest of the Support team dwindled.
Many errors, double orders, registers getting stuck mid transaction, barcodes not scanning properly, they always blame our server, but our hosting provider says our server is fine. They only want to help us when we buy hosting with them, that’s a scam.
We will move on to something more reliable.

Overall it is a good plug-in. For bar codes I wish it would use either EAN or bar code and not only bar code as my only option was to transfer into EAN. Wish as admin in registry could do a custom price and not have to calculate a dollar amount or % off, just an extra step. Support has been responsive and mostly helpful what little bit I need to use them. The big thing I wanted was to sync in store and on-line stock as I am looking at selling on-line at some point, as my last POS would not do. I have been using it in conjunction with my current POS for almost a month now and have been mostly happy with it. At this point I do not regret upgrading to a paid lifetime basic plan.

The plugin has added to much value to clients businesses. This is a top tier plugin and is so simple and easy to use.
The Oliver Team has probably the best support a commerce developer can ask for. The team has given me the greatest support and opportunity to grow my business.
The POS plugin works seamlessly and gives no issues. It is an amazing plugin and the team is amazing, even though we are based in different time zones the support is on point.

I’m happy to report that OliverPOS fulfills all my needs. It’s a solid product, works fast and is up-to-date. Their support is also top notch and very quick.
There are some advanced functionality that I would like to see for example .
Otherwise these are small niggles that can be ironed out over time. Kudo’s to the team.

Very easy to use, once set up. The only thing I miss is the opportunity to use increments of 10cm for example. I can’t use any comma nor points in my amount and this quite important when you sell fabrics…
I’ve already contacted support for this, but it seems there’s not yet a solution for my problem.
A part from that, love the plug in!

This is a great plugin and does everything it says it does and very well, however one draw back for us was the lack of an offline mode, the environment in which we operate makes this essential. Hopefully this issue will be addressed in a future version. Unfortunately for now this lack means we cannot use this product.

The software works great for us (webshop and mortar and brick store in the Netherlands. It has the features like Add Fee, Email receipt to guest customer and choose card or cash payment. Refunds also work great.
Only thing i could say is, it takes a while to talk to customer support (on certain times online, not 24/7 online) but when you make contact, they try to resolve things and help you during every step.

The best way to describe this plugin is by saying that it’s very complete. You can do all the basics and needed with the free version. It works very nicely and clean. I haven’t had any problems with all the connections it requires. And I have to say the user interface is also very pleasing. I’m enjoying everything about it. And hoping for a mobile app.
