This plugin is no longer usable, it injects a popup with ads to your website when a user clicks on something. God knows what other malicious codes is hidden inside.

This worked for me for a while, but the popup panel on each page would sit over things at the bottom of my pages, even preventing me from editing some blocks, which was irritating.
A colleague told me he was seeing ads all over the page; I said that was impossible, it’s an internal site, there should be no ads. Turns out it was this plugin, and I just had AdBlocker preventing me from seeing them! Bleh. Then I found out the Gutenberg HTML block can host script tags, so I just threw my page-specific JavaScript in there and boom, no more need of a plugin!

used to love this plugin until it got plastered with loads of ads. such a shame better alternatives out there which have no ads

This plugin will show 3 lines of ads for doing 3 lines of code! There is another plugin, “Header and Footer Scripts” which will do the same thing for FREE and with no ADS.

i guess devs of the plugin forgot to mention that you have to actually buy pro version to remove ads.

Tried this plugin but it just had a series of ‘upgrade’ buttons instead of anything that let me actually add the script. I wasn’t sure if it was just an issue of unclear GUI, so I tried saving the page while there was text in the script box, but that didn’t seem to do anything.

You’d THINK that embedding Javascript scripts into specific WP pages would be a fairly mundane task. NOT! I tried several other plugs, and after hours of trying to figure out WHY even my little JS test script wouldn’t work, and watching these other plugs throw all sorts of odd errors, I tried this plug. Same code. Worked perfectly!
May be upgrading to paid version if it continues to work consistently.

I was going out of my mind trying to achieve this simple task before I found this. Worked perfectly first time. Excellent plugin.

This plugin does what it says and makes life easy to add scripts to your pages.

Tried lots of plugins before, just to put a single javascript tracking code from Google Adwords, but no one seems to work fine.
OH add script is the first that worked with the Google Tag Assistant. Very nice plugin, because i want to track conversions for just one page, not entire site.
Thanks!

The code gives a notice in the search.php file as it has $ post-> ID, the solution is to add two lines:
function oh_add_script() {
global $post;
<strong>if (!isset($post)) return;</strong>
$output = get_post_meta($post->ID,'_oh_add_script_header',true);
echo stripslashes($output);
$sogo_header_footer = get_option('sogo_header_footer');
if(isset($sogo_header_footer['oh_header'])){
echo stripslashes($sogo_header_footer['oh_header']);
}
}
function oh_add_script_footer() {
global $post;
<strong>if (!isset($post)) return;</strong>
$output = get_post_meta($post->ID,'_oh_add_script_footer',true);
echo stripslashes($output);
$sogo_header_footer = get_option('sogo_header_footer');
if(isset($sogo_header_footer['oh_footer'])){
echo stripslashes($sogo_header_footer['oh_footer']);
}
}

Worked well on a Genesis child theme, and as stated, it doesn’t load the script on other pages or posts.
Thanks for making this available on the WordPress repository!

I looked high and low for a plugin that would do as this one does. Not only is this one supported, but it was supported quickly – and they went beyond the call of duty to help me work this into my theme after a small bug in the theme’s code prevented proper function.
Thank you guys.

This should be default in wordpress nowadays!
Wonderful plugin, works with all themes, regular updates. What more can you ask!

I was looking to add some simple javascript code to the one page without having to edit the template files. This plugin solved my problem and is exactly what I needed. I can now switch between templates (including mobile templates) without having to to put the code in the header each time.
The only improvement I could suggest is a little more documentation. To use the plugin, enter the custom javascript code in a special field at the bottom of the post/page editing screen. You start with <script type="text/javascript">
enter the code, and then end it with </script>

Been looking for plugin like this all over. Most of them haven’t had updates for 2 years. And rest didn’t work. This one is only one that works flawlessly. Very grateful for author of thinking it up. Can now have CSS per page. Excellent!
