If you unchecked the “Allow everyone to see your profile” under Account Settings / Privacy Settings in your Treehouse Profile you will not be able to access your badges in WordPress. The issue is that the JSON file under “teamtreehouse.com/your-profile.json” is not available with this preference.
It would be helpful if the Plug-In throws an error to the user if the requested file returns a 404. Furthermore a note in the readme.txt
would also be useful.
There are lots of object not found errors throughout the plugin. Specifically if you do something, like ask it to show more badges than a user currently has. Also, they pop up all over, including the plugins page and widgets area if a user name has not been set. If a user does not 20 badges the plugin page has errors in every other spot.
This is a really great plugin, just wanted to let you know what I have come come across. Thanks for your hard work!

]]>I recently took the One Page WordPress Site Workshop on Treehouse. When I add the widgets from this plugin to that theme they force themselves to full width and therefore it forces the whole sidebar below instead in it’s rightful place on the side.

]]>I’ve been happily running this plugin and utilizing the menu versions of the affiliate ad & badges. Today, Google Webmasters told me that ‘treehouse’ is my number 1 keyword with 438 occurrences. Yesterday, when I tried to share my first blog post on Google+, I couldn’t. I used an HTML validator and found that the Treehouse plugin had caused 98% of the 400+ errors. The only thing I could do was to disable the plugin, which fixed the problems. I wish I knew enough to just fix this on github. Still learning ?? I am up for trying if you would provide a diagnosis.

]]>Sorry, my links got a little jacked up in the last post.
Mods note –
The post edit link is not working, and when trying to add a new reply with the correct links I am receiving a message that my post has been closed, so I am posting this again. Will send to Treehouse directly as well.
There seems to be a styling conflict with Advanced Custom Fields. After activating the treehouse plugin the width of my ACF rows on the backend shrink to about 30% of the available screen width. After deactivating the plugin my rows return to normal width.
It’s probably best to show this with screen shots.

Upon activating the Treehouse plugin the display of my repeater rows in ACF shrink down to about 30% of the available screen width. It’s probably best to show this via screen shots –

Front end output is fine, and this isn’t a deal killer – but it is a bit of an inconvenience.
Running on localhost via MAMP, by the way.

TIA for any help, and let me know if there is anything that I can do on my end.

I have it both in the content as a short code, and as a widget in the sidebar.
