I’ve entered the verification code on my About page (it says there, and I’ve entered the code on my Home page (called Serving Justice) which doesn’t show anything like or

. I downloaded the Google site verification plug in, followed directions as shown on YouTube, but continue to receive error messages.

I am a novice blog owner. Very aggravating.

Hi There

I’ve been having problems getting my site to be verified I keep getting this message: Error calling https://www.googleapis.com/siteVerification/v1/webResource?verificationMethod=META&alt=json: (400) The necessary verification token could not be found on your site.

I’ve deleted my w3 cache plugin but it still isn’t working. Any ideas?

FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) and delete the wp-content/plugins/official-google-site-verification-plugin folder.

– I deleted the folder, after wich the plugin was deleted. I installed it again and got the same fatal error again. Can you please explain the solution some more ?

Hello

I have this configuration:

PHP version: 5.2.0
Wordpress version: 3.1.
Curl: enable
Json: enable

I get the next fatal error when i start the verification.

I have successfully installed the Official Google Site Verification plugin, however I get a fatal error when trying to activate it:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function sys_get_temp_dir() in /var/www/vhosts/boatreeds.com/httpdocs/WP/wp-content/plugins/official-google-site-verification-plugin/external/php-client/config.php on line 53

The plugin fails to verify my blog with the following message:

Thanks for the plugin Google. Much appreciated.

Here’s a thing, I recently verified the site using DNS.
It then said that I should do it again with another option to raise security or something a long those lines but I wasn’t able to do it again. Now I verified using this plug-in but am not all that interested in having yet another plug-in running on the site.

So….. after verification, does the plug-in need to be running at all times in order to stay verified?
