I have installed your plugin but don’t have any idea about the shortcode. How I can use this without shortcode?
I’m wondering how to ensure that an image — could be the featured image, or maybe another one — appears in the other site when embedded. Or for podcasts, is there as way I can make the audio be part of the oembed?
Hi Devs,
I’m embedding streaming audio to a post. I’d like to add the ability to provide this mp3 content in addition to post summaries, and thumbnails etc via the plugin. The objective is to allow the audio content to be embedded and played by the consumer site.
Is this at all possible?
Thanks.
Hello,
I am using your oembed provider plugin and I can not get it to work with Pinterest Rich pins format. The pins that I submit for approval will not validate. I keep getting errors that some info is missing in the format and will not validate.
Do you know what may be causing this? What I can do to make this plugin compatible? I am trying to post pins using the Rich {recipe} oembed format with your plugin.
Here are some useful links that may help solve this issue.

Any support will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You.
How do I use this plug-in? I don’t see any control panel or settings. I can’t find any documentation. Does this plug-in automatically scrape data from a webpage or can I enter the data?
Hello, this is a great plugin! I’m running into a problem where the WordPress shortcodes within a post are not processed. So, for instance, the returned oembed JSON will contain things such as:
[caption id="" align="alignright" width="320"]Caption text goes here.[/caption]
Is there a way to make sure shortcodes are pre-processed? It seems that parsing these on the client side after the JSON is received would be a lot of work, especially when WordPress itself has the facilities to process them.
Thanks for all your help!
Silvio
I’m so confused. I want to provide embeddable content. I tried with a link like this: https://scalablesocialmedia.com/wp-content/oembed-provider/oembed-provider/?provider_name=Scalable&url=https://scalablesocialmedia.com&title=Social Media Audit&description=Let me review your current online marketing.&price=$49¤cy_code=USD
Just to test it out. My aim is to get it to validate here: https://developers.pinterest.com/rich_pins/validator/. It keeps telling me I’m missing something. Am I on the right track? What’s the endpoint I should be using?
Great idea for this plugin, but is there any way to determine how the plugin pulls the metadata that is used/served to consumers such as embed.ly?
I have installed and activated the plugin. Then checked embedding the site’s content on other site in different ways. But failed.
These are the ways I tried, after activating oembed-provider
1) Tried embedding the content using [embed][/embed] short code
2) Tried activating wp-easy-embed . But could n’t able to embed the content
Could anybody help me with this?
Thank you!
Curious if it’s possible to to make this to work with Twitter’s API so that when I tweet a link to a post on my WordPress blog with a photo, the photo appears in Twitter clients and NewTwitter (eg. Tweetie for Mac) as other image services would (eg. Twitpic)?
