Hello,

Recently I have noticed that my Posts Slider is showing the same 4 posts all the time. I’ve set the properties to show 8 posts and 4 posts per slide. There are at least 16 blogs to be shown, so there should be enough content to be displayed without “gaps in slider”. When the slider automatically moves to the right, it is showing always the same 4 posts. Also, if I’m clicking the “right” arrow in the slider, I’m always getting the same 4 posts in slider (behaves the same as when the posts are automatically sliding, but if I click “left” then I’m first getting some empty (white) page and only after the additional click I’m getting further page with additional 4 posts. It seems to me that this problem did not occur before. Has anyone experienced similar issues?

Please help me to remove lazy loading feature from Ocean Post slider. (To avoid Layout Shift on Page Loading)

We aren’t not using any lazy loading plugin and for sure Ocean Post Slider is lazy loading the slider images and causing layout shift on page loading.

Would you please help me to remove lazy loading feature from slider? As I can’t see any option in the plugin or theme setting to do so.

Is there a way to do it ?

Every time you update the theme, this breaks on my site.

All I want is for the slider to appear on my home page above the latest posts. This has been and should be one of the most simple options in any theme, please put it back x

I’m using WordPress with the theme OceanWP and the carousel plugin “Ocean Posts Slider”

When I’m logged in and visiting the website, the carousel is displayed, it’s all good.
If I browse my website in private mode, or while logged off, it’s not showing up.

Any idea where that could come from?

The slider stopped suddenly working some time ago. I studied the forums topics and tried any suggestions I found, but still it doesn’t work.

I made two screenprints, but cannot add them here. The shortcode is in Elementor at the top of the page; and in the oceanwp-settings in Shortcodes > shortcode after title.
Please any help will be welcome.

The Ocean Posts Slider was working perfectly fine before 2.0.1 on safari.
However after updating it, it doesn’t seem to work on Safari. Tried it on my Mac and even on my iPhone, the post slider does not show up. But loading the page via Chrome, the slider appears.

Hi there was an update today, and version 2.0.0 does not have 3 images per slide as configured and does not run the slider for the next image. Previous version 1.1.1 works fine. In version 2.0.0, Only 1 image per slide.

Hello, while trying to create a new slide or editing an existing one, there’s no settings below the name, like I’ve seen in screenshots and video about the plugin. I’ve tried reinstalling but still the same issue.

I love this theme and his elegance!
I have a problem with the slider:

On this configuration, it shows only one product and not sliding.
I imput nothing for incl category.
If I input Women, or women (name of the category), nothing is showing
I want to input 4 sliders:
– All: the one you see that unfortunately have 1 fixed image
– Kids
– Men
– Women

My categories are clearly named and separate

Please help me, this sliders is looking extremely nice

Bought WP Ocean and love it. Created some blog posts, slider was showing posts with images. Installed Jetpack, Slider still okay. Created new post (HMCS Haida) and now the slider still works, but does not display images.

Followed advice given in other topics here to attempt to “Try turning it off and on again” but no change.

I’d download and enable the plugin, but I got a message in my dashboard that asking me ? Only one step left – Complete “Ocean Posts Slider” Activate Now ?. When I click on it, I’m in the theme panel dashboard and I don’t know what I have to do.

Regarding Object fit cover topic raised by @milettic, I found a solution (the CSS hack you provided does not work, at least for me).

Add this in functions.php :
add_image_size( 'owpslider', 300, 270, true ); // 220 pixels wide by 270 pixels tall, hard crop mode

Of course, dimensions may vary, the “true” parameter is this important stuff.

I personally put it in a custom plugin, but it works just fine otherwise.

Then for existing post you need to install Regenerate thumbnails plugin

(And click on every image being generated, as it not enough as is).

I think that would be a great feature to add in the next version of the plugin.
At least two of us came across this problem, and I guess many more. It’s just an extra line of code.

I recently discovered the OceanWP Post Slider, and I am testing it on my DEV environment.
I tried to add the shortcode on my homepage, but for some reasons only 2 of them get displayed…

Though I have a more than 2 posts being displayed on my /blog/ section.
Even looking at the source code (Ctrl+U), only two <article> section are shown…So it is not a display problem.

My settings are “default” ones
Style : 3 images
Number : 3

I tried many different settings, I just don’t get it.

1.Does this plugin support custom post types?

2.Does it load scripts and styles from the theme or ocean extra (perhaps controlled by the theme panel scripts and styles section) or does it load its own assets even if they are loaded by the the theme? I would like to avoid loading duplicate js and css files at the frontend.

Hi, I recently updated my WP to 5.5, I have Ocean WP installed, and the Ocean Post Slider is not working for me with any settings that I modify. I need to change the margin settings, as the photos are very sticky and when I do, it saves the data but does not make any changes to the layout. I have even created a new slider and modified the ID, but it doesn’t even change it.
The plugin warns that it has not been used with this version of WP, so I understand that it is a compatibility problem.
I need urgent help please.

I am using the post slider on the top of my blog and after the first six posts slide by it briefly glitches to three blank posts with much larger image settings, overlapping the rest of my page’s content, before circling back to the beginning. I can’t figure out why it is doing this, and it’s also causing an issue with the margin below the slider being incorrect. Please advise.

The post slider is not responsive with mobile device. I have been trying to get a custom css code to it.
Can you please help me with custom css code to make it responsive.

Right now every word in the headline of every post in the slider begins with a capital letter. Is there any way to change it so the first word in the sentence is the only one with a capital letter (unless written otherwise).

I am having trouble to make posts slider work. I am using oceanwp theme and would like to add a post slider to my posts and pages, but after i placed the shortcode, nothing was showing at preview. I tried from both elementor and from post edit-shortcode, all it did was leave a blank session on the page without content. I tried to deactivate/ activate /delete/ re-install the plugin, still not working.
