I installed this after having some conflicts between YARPP and my theme.
At first I was a little disappointed. Although it said indexing completed almost immediately, the suggested content seemed random and even things with the same tags and in the same categories weren’t being suggested. However, after a day or two it seemed to lock into place and now everything looks pretty good!

Works like a charm.

What ever you do, don’t install this plugin on your site. It will infect your site with b.scorecardresearch.com tracking code.
We had installed it as an alternative to YARPP and while doing Pagespeed and YSlow tests, discovered it was loading the Comscore tracking code, thus slowing down our site and more importantly, was violating our privacy policy. The most important thing you have is the trust you establish with your users. When they find out your site is responsible loading tracking code on to their system, you can kiss your credibility goodbye.
nRelate, you should be banned…

As of WordPress version 3.9.1, NRelate doesn’t yet support sites using full https / SSL, regardless of what NRelate staff have said previously in WordPress support forums.

I don’t understand where the money goes. Apparently people are saying this is an ad network. I just don’t understand where the money goes by installing a plugin.
Confusing start, but I haven’t tried it yet ??

The promise of nRelate, that it will automatically generate links to your “partner” websites, is based upon some unknown approval process.
In other words, they want to place ads on your site, for some unknown revenue-share scheme, but don’t actually offer the functionality you expect in return…

I installed this last night. The help says if ads don’t show on your site after 2 hours, contact support. I posted on the forum 3-4 hours later, and here it is the next night, No answer. The re-index button is greyed out, and I saw on their forum LOTS of people had the same problem, yet they never give a solution for it. I uninstalled it. Maybe if you answered support requests, you wouldn’t get so many 1 stars.

Nothing shows up on my pages (articles), only post articles.

Works great, been a happy use for years. Deserves the 5 stars I’ve given it in my opinion. Sucks that a lot of people seem to be having problems with it. It’s gone down once or twice on me in over 3 years so I can’t knock it.

Added nRelate to two sites last night and one tonight – all sites up and running in about ten minutes.
I’ll have a play with the CSS over the weekend just to tweak a few things, but this plugin looks great straight out of the box.
I have to give this plugin top marks and I look forward to seeing if my pageviews increase.

Their own website has a bunch of glitches
Product is OFF and On ….. somehow related to MindSpark
After 2 frustrating months here I am …….. fed up!
THOUSANDS of VALID clicks and they are reporting ZERO income…….
NRelate = BOGUS SCAMMERS in my experience
PLZ – Anyone have other VIABLE recommendations?

I tried four or five related post plugins and for me nrelate is the best. Nice layout options, can be inserted as a widget, works without problems.

I’ve used nRelate on a couple of sites.
Pros:
Best looking related content plugin I have found.
Many options for the display for example with and without thumbnails and excerps.
The option to include content from other websites (very useful).
Cons:
Sometimes it just doesn’t work.
Crappy relevancy of the related content. All other related content plugins I’ve tried has been better at actually matching posts with each other.
At the moment excerps isn’t working.

Waited for a month for it to index my site, and it never did. The only option to get help is to create an account in their forums and ask questions there. No thanks…

There are better options.

Using nrelate for my newest project and it’s by far my favorite plugin for displaying related post. The default templates look very nice and I like how it can take the first image used in a post and use it for the thumbnail. Very easy to configure and since it is served by a third party it will not have negative impacts on smaller hosting accounts. It does take a bit to start displaying related posts (around 15 minutes or so) as it first has to index your site. Not a big deal for me. Highly recommended.

Not showing related content on site.
No answer from support.

This plugin is NOT showing related content to posts.
It’s showing ‘anything’ and changes when pages are refreshed.
In early versions it was OK but now it doesn’t work.
Last version 0.52.5 shows only the same thumbnails in all posts beyond the problem above described.
I’ve de-activated and re-activated but the problem persists.

I really like it, but, it seems to use it’s own images instead of the ones I have posted in the articles. I would rather have no image showing even than a picture of a sunrise, or sunset when my site has nothing to do at all with those types of images.

I tested several plugins to do this and it’s the best.
He probado varios plugins para hacer esto y me parece el mejor.

This has great options. I like how easy it was to setup. I can’t understand how some of these reviews say such bad things about this plugin. I did have to wait like 10 minutes for it to show, but that is no big deal. I am a little patient sometimes for no support response quick, but I think some of the people that expect the support from a free plugin, needs to chill out.
I can understand if it was paid subscription or something like that or paid host for support, and not receiving a response fast enough. Some people are busy. If you want to know really slow response from support try using DISQUS comment system support. I am using that plugin and love it, but they take more than 24 hours to email you back after you fixed the problem yourself first, and then keep emailing days or week later after telling you fixed it already.

I’ve submitted questions about using nrelate and have received no answers back. So I removed nRelate related content from my site. Will search for something else to use that offers support in case something doesn’t work.
