When I install the Post Notification by Email plugin, I would like to know if the posts that are already present on the site are all sent because they are recognized as new, because I wouldn’t want that to happen, that is, I would like only those published after the installation date to be sent.
Tell me this is the case otherwise I would send around 300 items to all my customers.
Thank you
Hello! I have a blog and i would like to send notifications when i post a new post. So, my blog is in two different language.
It’s possible to send notification to both language (english & french) with the correct link in the language of the subscipters.
Thanks!

]]>Is there a way for user to unsubscribe from the notifications if they don’t want to get them?
]]>Who gets the emails? All registered users or subscribers? I had big problems with another plugin as it could not add people as a subscriber. What should the new member default be?
]]>Post Notification by email (with My SMTP WP) has been functioning for several years, no problems. Thank You! But suddenly nothing at all happens when I add a new post. Plugins up to date, settings checked, I have even uninstalled and re-installed, and re activated but still nothing. Help.
]]>When a new user (subscriber) registers, they receive an email about their username and password. Can I disable sending of these emails? Thank you!
]]>I can’t figure out how it triggers the email to be sent, but assume its on any NEW post.
If you edit the post in any way (update) then re-post/republish, an email is not sent.
Say you have 100 users subscribe since the post went out, and you update to it, and have it re-deliver that post (with changes or updates) to all users.
I know that it might get annoying if it is edited 10 times they get 10 emails.
In that case, I know that would happen, and would save a draft until it is ready and they publish to post, and then want the email to be fired.
How can you have it email on updates?
I’d even go modify the back end code to trigger, if I knew where to look under the hood on how it checks for new posts then triggers.
It looks like the Author is MIA or abandoned this, but maybe someone else has looked at this.
]]>The wp function of registered users is not really used. Why not expand this plugin with a rudimentary Newsletter function? I am looking a long time for such Plugin…
]]>it’s possible configure two of this plugin?
one for post article and one for custom post type with a different template to send? (i need to send htlm code and php and not the content of post)
Just installed the plugin today. As far I can tell the email notification are only going out the the user type subscriber but I have all types selected. I have a user account created for me as a user and as an admin and one created for my boss as an admin. I only got the email notification on my personal email account registered as a user type subscriber.
]]>Adding the {link_post} placeholder in the URL Link section of code does NOT work.
Setting the email body to:
Check out the new post {title}.
Results in a BAD href that looks like “http//http:real.linkurl.com” – there is an EXTRA HTTP in the sent HTML.
How can I fix this so I can use the {link_post} placeholder and {title} placeholders to create a LIVE link.
]]>Hi all,
Is there a way to disable the email notifications my users are getting with every comment written under my posts? I want them only to get my post notification, not the comment notifications.
Thanks for your support!
Shanti
The link {Link} is just a plain text in received e-mails (not a realy link). How can we correct this?
]]>When you are activation a large number of plugins, this plugin stops the process and gve a message “Are you sure you want to do this” Why?
]]>One would think there would be a widget to put in the sidebar? Or some directions to use a shortcode. It seems it sends emails, but it doesn’t have the ability to collect the email addresses.
Where is the widget that goes in the sidebar to collect the email addresses so the plugin can notify folks that there is a now post?
]]>We want people to be able to enter their email address on the sidebar and puff they can receive email notifications of new posts.
We do not want people to have to become a member or create a login.
Will this do what we want it to do without it doing what we don’t want it to do.
]]>Comments on blog posts always trigger a notification.
When I empty all of the fields in the comments area, it still sends comment notifications. The relevant fields are “Email subject for new comments” and “Email body for new comments.” Both are empty and comments notifications are still being sent.
When I empty absolutely all of the fields, including under “Conditional Settings” I get zero notifications – for both blog posts and comments.
Would appreciate your support!

]]>Hello,
Would you ever look at designing a plugin which is like this one but instead it notifies users in roles when things are uploaded to certain categories?
EG: User role = cake – Category = cake
When a new post is uploaded to cake, then all those users in the role cake, will be notified?
If not, would you be able to recommend a plugin which does the same?
Thanks
]]>Hi,
whenever I add new product some stupid comments notification is triggered to all subscribers.
How to turn this OFF?
My Conditional settings read only: Posts, rest is blank_

Hi,
I need help! Just want to see a list with all the people who subscribe to follow by mail. The problem is I can′t find this list.
Big thx and brgds
Bernhard
Only the Administrators receive an email notification.
I have tried adding subscribers in the settings but it doesn’t work.
Please could you help?
Thanks.

]]>Hi! We were looking for a plugin that would send email notifications out to members whenever there’s a new post under the category of Announcements. Users would create Announcement Posts from the front end of our website via the User Submitted Posts plugin.
This plugin seemed like the perfect solution for what we need, however, after I read the FAQ and went through the settings the way we would like them and did test posts via the front end using the User Submitted Posts plugin, the emails were not sent. Would you point us in the right direction in terms of where we might need to make adjustments to make this work?
We’re also using WP_Mail_SMTP plugin which we’ve already been using and know that it works.
Thanks and would truly appreciate your guidance.

Is there a way to get the meta value from the post and include them to the content who will be send by mail?
Thank you for the great plugin.
