It’s been three years since an update. I am going to assume this is abandoned?

I have no idea why I didn’t realize that I’m still not getting email notifications when someone posts, but I’m not getting them still.

My community is slow, hence me not realizing until someone just posted & no one got notified.

This is very important otherwise no one will come into the community if they don’t get those emails.

I was going to update the previous ticket, but you locked me out?

Reviewing the server error logs, we found that this query produced an error:
SELECT?MAX(id)?FROM?wp_bp_notifications?WHERE?user_id?=?0?AND?component_name?IN?('xprofile','friends','messages','activity','groups','members','buddypress_member_review','notification-buddypress')?AND?is_new?=?1;

We find that in the wp_bp_notifications table, there are more than 784526 results for user_id=0

SELECT * FROM wp_bp_notifications WHERE user_id = 0 ORDER BY wp_bp_notifications.date_notified DESC

We don’t have a user with user_id=0

Is this an error? Why are records saved in this table for the user user_id=0?

Can we optimize this somehow?

Can we delete those records?

Hello, notifications are working fine while updating a text in buddypress. But not working when I am posting a video or image update in activity stream.
I can see this video and image update activity in buddypress activity from wp dashboard. But This plugin is skipping this.

When I add a new message to the BP activity stream I receive a notification mail as expected. When I create a post using a frontend editor a message is added to the activity feed. But this message doesn’t generate a notification.

How can I fix this? Do I need a different trigger?

So I’m new to your plugin & we just realized the notifications aren’t going out either for notices or e-mails when someone posts in a group or even on their profile page.

Can you fix that?

Can you also tweak the plugin so that it only sends post notifications for people who are in the group?

Will this allow private group activity to show in the site-wide activity feed for those members who are in those groups? Or will this only show public group activity?

I am trying to install your plugin and activate a notification email for new activity. I installed the Notification plugin and activated the buddypress extension and it appears under “Carriers”, but unfortunately there are no triggers for buddypress in the drop down list. Am I doing something wrong or is there an issue? I previously updated my wordpress to the latest version and it shows that compatibility with this plugin has not been tested, could that be the reason?

I love the plugin in many ways and it’s oppertunities. I only ‘miss’ or I rather say: wish one thing: the user meta fields from the bp profile.

Unfortunately I have not the experience to create all the files or my custum plugin from A to Z. I am willing to try out a lot but I need an example. Or a roadmap how to handle…

Can you help me out?

In my particular case I would like to add a trigger for example:
User Updated xprofile-field “Favorite Color’.

sadly the notifications via BuddyPress supplier are not working anymore. While I am receiving emails, the notifications via BuddyPress seem to be out of order. I tested several notifications and the bug seems to be in the supplier. May you have a look?
