Hello
The Dashboard doesn’t show up for my Board members.
I dont want them having access to the backend of the website
]]>Hi, I’m new to WordPress.
I’d like to know if it’s possible, with this plugin, to create a page with a login accessible with the board members’ credentials only.
Are all the content in there private and can not be searchable on search engines?
How does the web interface for the board member look?
Thank you.

Once my board member user logs in, where do they see their resources? I set up my board user KarynLBoard as a ‘board member’. When they login would I expect to see the WordPress black toolbar at the top of the page?
I want to understand where my board members go to see their resources/events etc.
]]>The gravatar is not showing on the website display (using the shortcode to display board members on the site).
I’m not sure if this is a setting somewhere else in WP or if it’s something I need to edit in the template file – I moved it to my theme folder to customize it, but have not made any changes to it yet.
I also need to sort the board members and would like to link to a contact form for some of them. Has anyone been able to create solutions for those issues?
Thank you,
Ernie
This is a pre-sales enquiry of sorts. If board members upload files to the media library for listing in the resources, are these files then indexed by search engines? Some of their files may be sensitive so I need to know if the plugin is secure in this way and that only logged-in board members would be able to access/view such content.
]]>I would like to add some content & features to the Board Members list page. I have code inserted directly in the “nonprofit-board-management.php” file and it works great. I would like to move this code to a custom extension/plugin and extend the WI_Board_Management class, so that the additions are not overwritten by future WIBM updates.
Is there a hook or function I can tie into, to add content at the bottom of this page, above or below “do_action( ‘winbm_after_members_table’ );”? Any info or documentation you can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks!
]]>Since the last update it seems that all admin level users show up as board members, We have tried unchecking the “Serving on Board” option but the save is not changed and box rechecks. We got around this by creating a “fake” admin level role, and assigning that to users. However, the “super admin” user can’t have their role switched, so they show up on the board listing.
Is this intentional and is there a way around it?
Thank you.
]]>Given the COVID-19 issues, we’d like to offer a third alternative to Going/Not Going. The third being “Attending Electronically.” Seems this is likely hard coded and not easily user changed. Any chance this could be done though? I can’t imagine we’re the only ones in need of such a change.
Thanks
]]>After each event/meeting I like to document the meeting notes. Is there a place for me to log these notes?
Also, is there a way to attach file/meeting agenda along with meeting invite?
Lastly, similar to the board members, is there a way to create executive staff using this plugin then display the members on the page front like the board members?
]]>Hello,
I know to display the board members on my public site, I can add [list_board_members]
.
But how can I display the available committees along with their members on a public page?
]]>Hi guys
I think this plugin would be really cool if also adds integration with buddypress, so that committees became groups in buddypress and that the evnets of those committees would be visible and editable in buddypress. For non-profits buddypress is a very commonly used plugin, so there’s a really cool match between the two. That would also mean that you should be able to add the users/members in the frontend instead of ib the backend.
just some thoughts.

Couple of questions about the resources.
1. Is there any way to restrict the editing of this to admins only? I took a look at using User Roles, but it wasn’t a permission.
2. Is there a way to reveal the full rich text editor? The client would like to add images, but struggles with html text edits.
Thank you
]]>My site already had a dashboard and a new one wasn’t created. Therefore, I can’t see a list of events/committees/etc on the front end. Only the admin side. My (ageing) board has no business behind the scenes in a website. They need things spoon fed and there is too much risk giving them too much access.
Therefore, if you told me how to create a list like your Board Member list I would love to do so. I have programming background but no PHP. I wouldn’t know how to get the object names and their fields.
]]>What is the short code to list events on public site? (like you have the board member list?)
]]>When I first installed the plugin, all the Board Members were able to see the Board Management Dashboard. Now that I’ve added the RSVP capability, they no longer see it, so nobody except someone with admin rights sees it all now.
]]>Just installed the plugin, testing it out, likely going to put into production with the Automatic Event RSVP and Reminder Emails Extension at the very least. We have meetings 4 times a year for the entire board, but there is a sub committee(s) that will meet separately and on different dates. How can I limit the event date to a particular committee?

]]>I would like to redesign the board-list (the shortcode output) so I can design the page as I wish.
The question is – to maintain it with upgrades, how should I do this in a correct manner?
]]>I found a post explaining how to sort the board members, but I didn’t really understand it. It said to access a file called winbm or something, but I don’t know where that file is.
Would be nice if you could just drag and drop the board members in order like you do with other WP items.
]]>Hi, it’s not clear how board members would access their dashboard. Do I set up a login page with a shortcode?
]]>Hello, we are not sure whether to use this plug-in or a password protected page in order to share files with our Board members.
When a board member logs in, what do they see as their dashboard – is it the same as what the WordPress site admin sees when they click on the plug-in?
Thank you for your help!
]]>Hi there, my board members are setup as WordPress “subscribers” in addition to board members.
Is it possible to set it up so that they cannot edit the Board Management backend, only RSVP to events?
Currently, it seems like every board member can add events, edit committees, etc, which doesn’t seem ideal. Any way to turn that feature off? We just want them to be able to read/download everything and RSVP to meetings.
Thanks!
]]>Is there a way that I can add the mailing address to the contact information section of the users profile?
]]>Login redirects to the same login page or gives 403 forbidden error. Can you confirm compatibility with the most recent WordPress update version 4.9?
]]>Is this plugin compatible with a multi-site setup?
]]>IS it possible to list board member email on front end website?
]]>Hi there, I like your plugin quite a lot and I would like to use it.
Is it possible to attach meeting minutes to past events? Are board events a custom post type? If so, do you think that adding a custom field would be a viable solution?
Thanks.
Up to now I can select “I’m going” and “I’m not going” only.
it could be possible insert a “i’m not sure” option with some text note by the attendees?
if I try to create a new event, I can’t save the date and hour of the event.
why?
Hi, I’m a little disappointed in this app. I thought it would be able to list committees as well without having people to sign in and go to the dashboard. Currently I am able to place a page under the member section for a list of board members, but I can’t find a short code to do this with the committees. Again, I don’t want people to have to sign into and go to the dashboard. I would prefer to have a submenu link on the front page.
Is there a short code to list the committees?
Thanks
Donna
