How is there multiple reviews of folks saying it doesn’t accept Cardano addresses from multiple months ago and it’s still broken? Yes, it’s nice to have some cryptos that do work, but I’m heavily invested in Cardano and WANT to accept that crypto for payment. It’s a free plugin, which means it wasn’t like rocket science to create. How about the creators of this plugin take pride in what they do and actually fix it so it accepts Cardano addresses. Doesn’t seem all that complicated of a thing to do.

I posted the Fatal Error when you click Activate on the developer’s Github, but this appears to be a dead/abandoned project. Hasn’t been touched for months. No response to anything reported.
Maybe it’s great. Who knows. It can’t even be activated.

I tried using this and it seems pretty straight forward but has some glitches. The Cardano addresses don’t seem to save effectively and updates are common so the plugin itself may not be viable and/or secure.

I also recognize this. For that reason i changed the code, to that the file will contains the order-id, so it’s unique for every session, user. This solves the problem. Below my changes :

The file name of the QR code always has the same name: tmp_qrcode.png.
If you have more orders in a row, you may get caching issues and see the same image in your email every time. That can be confusing. Especially when you pay ETH first, then LTC or BTC.

Loveley plugin!
But it needs an update an update.. cause its not working OK with the latest WP + WC.. When u select cryptocurrencies they are not visible/ very buggy..
+ Please update the autopay function from beta.. so we know that its working perfectly.
Without autopay, the plugin is kind of useless.

This plugin has been great for accepting cryptocurrency payments in my small store. Payments directly to your wallet without unnecessary commissions, APIs, settings and external scripts that add bloat to the plugin, slowing your website. This is something very valuable because page speed is essential.
It is a pity this plugin is not yet popular (maybe because most people don’t perceive its advantages well enough) but if you don’t have huge numbers of sells is more than enough. I’ve had fake payments which the plugin identified immediately, putting the order on hold. I’m a beginner in cryptocurrency and I’ve read is more secure to run your own node or use a middleman to avoid these fake transactions but for now it seems this plugin is capable of detecting them without problems. Apart from the own blockchain that does not validate these types of transactions.
Things I’d ask of this plugin would be an additional step where Woocommerce cannot register the sale until there’s payment confirmation so stats aren’t affected by these fake payments.
Also support for BTC Lightning and Segwit Bech32 that I’ve heard has lower fees and is even harder to make fake transactions but at least Native Segwit is on the works by what I’ve seen in the author’s website. Being a newbie I don’t know if it’s possible to make a fake deposit to your wallet, in my experience, this fake transaction was detected without problems by this plugin.
Imo all these other cryptocurrency plugins that promote themselves justifying the need of a middleman to add security to transactions are deceptive since the blockchain adds all the security to your transactions. Perhaps this is the weak point of Nomiddleman’s plugin and the reason why so few people have installed it yet: educating the users on why they don’t need a middleman, sucking their income for a false sensation of security, and the advantages of the blockchain.

Get this plug in! It works great. No need for any payment gateway. Save money and the hassles. Plus it works from a .onion site. Which the payment gateways wouldn’t.
The support is unbelievably amazing! Ridiculously attentive and responsive. The one behind this plug-in is amazing. You’re doing great work! I just sent them a donation. Considering that it’s an amazing free plug-in. You should as well!
If you’re using the privacy mode for bitcoin. You need to send some test transactions first before using it. And be sure it’s generating your proper addresses.
