We have set up subscribers who can upload, but admins need to be able to download everyones files. How is this acheived?

i am using this plugin and facing the issue. when i place shortcode to any page and visit that page it redirect users to login first. i want to remove that restriction so that everyone can upload the files easily without login.

When Uploading a new file it does not save the file detail and I must go into update and do it there. It also doesn’t refresh the changes on the files grid.

Your plugin is nice and it does what I want, except that I notice user files are tracked in two places: Under your File Manager and also they show up in Media Library. I also notice that when I delete a file in the File Manager, it does not delete the file from the Media Library. The opposite seems also true.

I would like to see an option to prevent uploaded files from being added to Media Library. I want them to be added only to the File Manager list. Or, when I delete from File Manager, I also want the file to be deleted from Media Library.

The Share File by Email feature is appearing in the free version of your plugin. 2 issues:

1. It does send the download link to the recipient email entered however it sends it 9 times!
2. When the recipient clicks on the link an error message appears that says “Sorry, you are not allow to download this file”

Great plugin but I need to see the documents in list view vs. the large block icons which prevent the user from being able to see the full title of the document unless they click the eyeball icon.

Is this possible and if so please advise. I do not see a List View option in the plugin settings and I am not sure if that feature is available in the PRO version.

I’m receiving this error when attempting to download a file. Same goes with a user who I shared the file with. Any advice? I’ve purged the URL for cache but no luck.

Further, each time I arrive on the files page, a popup appears saying “No Shared Files.” How can I remove this?

For the email notifications upon file upload, how do I change the from email ID field? Currently it’s showing my personal email.

The UI is broken and when i want to see the setting page on backend it show me Error while loading file \wp-content\plugins\media-user-file-uploader/templates

When I delete files, either through the file manager or through wp-admin, the files are still visible in the file manager. Even though “My Files (0 Items)” states 0 items.

Also, when deleting the files are still there in the folders on the server.

How do I resolve this issue?

Is there CSS or other assets available that I can use to rename the buttons and folder name?

if I delete only one file the view refreshes and does not show the deleted file anymore. But if I delete two files in a row the second one is still displayed.

I got an error message if I am trying to delete a file, it’s German “Fehler beim L?schen der Datei” (“Error deleting the file”), but there is no error, it actually works.

Error message stops if I comment this out:
swal(ffmwp_vars.labels.file_deleting, { className: "red-bg", buttons: false, });

It is at lines 478-483 in v20/js/ffmwp.js

Could you maybe update this as after an update my edit will be removed? I am not sure if there are problems with just commenting this out also.

After uploading a file the counting does not increment, only after reloading. Is it possible to update this instantly? (via ajax?) Or maybe this is only on my page?

I have just installed your plugin and everything seems to be working fine with the exception of an error I seems to be getting when attempting to upload a document on the front end (on the page where the plugin shortcode is). Once I select the file, nothing happens. The file upload works fine in the WP Dashboard but nothing happens on the front end. When attempting to upload, I receive the following console errors

Everything works fine.
But if I’m logged out, you can’t the the site with the files, because a new WordPress Login screen apears.

We are using this plugin on our website and loving it. On the back end, our client wants a way to hide or mark files that she’s already reviewed – we are thinking the best way to do this would be for her to put the reviewed files in a separate folder or an archive.

Is there a feature that allows us to create an archive or a separate folder that we can move files to from where they are in the main file manager?

the files that the user upload are accessible everywhere thanks to the link.
I think it’s becouse the file are stored in upload folder. For this reason the files are also in google results.

Is there a way to limit the file visbility only to the admin and the file owner?

I have installed WP File Manager version 21.0 and WP File Manager PRO version 20.0. When I try to load a file from the Front-End, the screen opens for me to select the file to load and then nothing happens. the file is not loaded.
