I’m currently working for one of my clients who uses Nitropack on her WordPress/WooCommerce site. On mobile, mainly on the home page, the image of the Persée Nuit (in the section “Inside our beautiful presentation box…”) appears completely black (as you can see on this link: https://ibb.co/FBB28Cm).

I have the impression that this is due to Nitropack’s CDN, which is set to “Strong” optimization mode. Also, they’ve just launched a new product, which is driving a lot of traffic to the site, so it’s essential to avoid any slowdowns or bugs as much as possible.
Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?

I’m taking the liberty of contacting you today, as I’ve been experiencing a problem for several weeks on a customer’s site (https://www.maison-alcee.com/).
This site uses several extensions, including WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency with WPML and NitroPack. The aim is to display, for example, the price of the Persée Azur (https://www.maison-alcee.com/produit/persee/#azur) at €7,500 before tax for users in France, and at $8,900 before tax for users in the United States.
The problem is as follows:
When my VPN is deactivated and I’m in France, the price is displayed correctly in euros.
However, when I activate the VPN to simulate a connection from the USA, the amount is sometimes displayed correctly ($8,900 excluding taxes), but most of the time it remains displayed in euros (€7,500 excluding taxes).

The problem is as follows:
The first video on the home page (the one that takes up the whole screen when you arrive on the page) is sometimes not displayed (https://ibb.co/5GFw7T0), especially on certain mobile devices (often under Safari) or on computers. When this happens, scrolling down the page brings up the video.
A few months ago, we were using another extension (WP Rocket) and I was able to correct this bug. However, since we switched to NitroPack, which optimizes the site very well, this problem has resurfaced.

]]>I need the editor role to have access to clear cache within the wordpress admin. Right now only the admin role has that capability. We have a large site with many users. Everyone who edits content can’t have admin role. I know that as you edit a page, the cache for it should clear automatically but there are cases where that doesn’t work. Changes to global elements come to mind.
Can role capabilities be added within the plugin to allow purging all cache and per page cache? If this existed, we could assign these capabilities to the editor role. Easy.

On a site that has Nitropack, we want to be able to use “Exclude CSS Selectors” functionality to prevent specific images from lazyloading. The issue is that with the Gutenberg block editor, when you assign an additional CSS class to an element, it adds it to the parent object, not to the image itself. And thus, the lazyloading exclusion is doing nothing.
Is it possible to do either of the following:
- Put more than just a selector in the exclusion list, i.e. something like: .no-lazyload figure img ??
- Some sort of filter or something that will check for .no-lazyload on an element and then also assign it to the child img?
As it is right now, the exclusion of elements for lazyloaded images is kind of useless, given how Gutenberg builds blocks.
]]>Hello, I installed NItropack from a video I saw on utube. First it didn’t do as said like it is a magical plugin. Then I had a long chat with someone from the support, I felt like he wanted me to pay the plugin. I so tried many plugin and many conflicts with Nitropack I had to stop it or uninstall… too much fuss. The guy sent me a screenshot to prove me the plugin works. Now I’m chating with WP devolppers telling me my photos aren’t modified wepb any longer and in the plugin no optimization at all. I just see with the plugin on my pagespeed seems a little bit better yet with too many things to change for better, when checking the payed plugin it tells you to pay for CDN etc.. so I don’t know what to think of it and if paying would make it better. Does that mean you restrict the plugin working after few weeks try? Also why I have to emplty cach myself all the time? why so many conflicts with other plugins? Seeing all the people having trouble it doesn’t help to pay to actually be sure it’s useful.

Only if i make a full cache purge of Nitropack, the category page update.
I have some suggestion :
1. Purge the Blog Archive page automatically when post a new post.
2. Add a textarea in the configuration admin area, and specify custom page to purge after a new post add.

By using nitropack its not possible to have this options and very simple basics:
– If you have a large website you definitly need to setup priority for every posttype. We asking support how to setup:
Index first 1000 products (type: product) before crawler running on 10.000 other sub-pages.
Feedback from support: Good idea.
Sorry, this is not a good idea. This is a absolute must-have and we are in 2024 and we still talking about crawler basics like this?
Next issue:
– We already reduced all not needed DNS Lookups. So now we need to prefetch all needed DNS Lookups by “Reduce DNS Lookups” function. Most of all caching plugins (also free edition) support that function.
NitroPack charge much more per month (and have packages per website-views) and still not have this important function.
They confirm its important to reduce the DNS lookups. But at the same time they say: we can not prefetch the needed DNS lookups. WOW.
Also here: We are in 2024 and still stuck in basics like this?
Sorry. You definitly need to improve this high-priced product.
We going to cancle all 65 subscriptions which we handle and will migrate back to other plugins which can handle the basic needs of page improvements.
And about the score/grade of improvement:
Other plugins cache much more kb/data without bracking the website.
The website in gtmetrix and many other benchmarks (we duplicate the project to 3 stages and installed 3 different caching plugins).
2 of them are much faster. Nitro pack was on place 3. Other cheaper plugin are faster. Also ISP (google pagespeed insights): with nitropack the score is 66. By using another caching plugin we have 91 and passed the core vital values. We also enabled the most hard caching method in nitropack and it does not optimize the website like the other caching plugins.
All together:
To high price for that value.
So less functions and basics are missing.
We have so many clients and after so long product dev time the client still missing simple improvement options like shown above.
And all that basics we start missing after using your product 20 minutes. I dont know how much more is still not possible after we checking more and more your product. ??

First yes I have emptied all caches on wordpress and browsers inc. cookies.
I have also checked url nomenclature and its all OK.
Essentially when any user logins and navigates away from the login landing page to any protected information page they are logged out again immediately.
Disable the Plugin – all works
This only Happens on Chrome on both Mobile and Desktop.
Fine in Safari on desktop and mobile
Fine on Firefox on PC and Mac
Chrome on all platforms logs out immediately for “ALL” users.
I have disabled the plugin to make the site operational for users, but as soon as its re-activated issue return across the board.
Any ideas why?

]]>I have NitroPack (via WPEngine) installed on multple sites, but I just installed it on a new site and the dashboard doesn’t have any settings. I can’t switch what level the plugin uses, there is no “warm up option.” There are no tabs at the top. I can only see how many pages are cached, a button to clear the cache and a link to the WPEngine dashboard. Every other site I have this on (also through WPEnigine) has way more settings. They are all using the same versions. How do I get these settings back?
Also, while I can see “nitro” headers, there are absolutely 0 performance improvements, unlike on the others. It’s like it’s stuck on a lower setting, but I can’t change it. The WPEngine dashboard only has a “troubleshooting” option which currently has it on “option 1 of 4” whatever that means, but I assume it’s the out of the box setting which is the highest.
