I have a two-step process. The step 1 form has a success message with a URL to step 2 that includes the email address field:

<a >Complete your profile</a>

In the step 2 form there’s a hidden field that gets the query string variable using {querystring:email}. The problem is that the email address is not encoded, so if there’s a + in the email (for example “[email protected]” which is a valid email) it’s being converted to a space in the hidden field’s value, so it’s populated as “myname [email protected]”.

Is there another way to include a field’s value in a URL so that it’s encoded?

I noticed that since 3.8.3 version, all forms are marked with the wcag accessibility error
‘An aria-labelledby or aria-describedby reference exists, but the target for the reference does not exist.‘

There was a previous topic here that mentioned it about 3 months ago, but it was wrongly marked as resolved, the issue still stands and the only way I found to overcome this is by rolling back to 3.8.2

I’m going to cut to the chase.

Why have you guys made it IMPOSSIBLE to migrate sites with Ninja Forms? Not a single major migration plugin could pull my ninja forms and submissions. What does that tell you. That there’s something wrong with how the structured data works with NF. You would think that since no migration tool can actually migrate Ninja Forms you guys, as the creators of this plugin, would have a seamless built in tool to export forms and submissions. But no. You can export forms, 1 by 1 so if you have 100 forms to migrate it will only take you a measly 2 HOURS. And when you finally do export all 100 forms and then import them. (Again I want to stress, manually, since there’s no bulk export button) Now you have to manually import all 100 forms (cause why would you guys implement a mass import button either?) The best part is, they import with incorrect IDs, and they for some reason rename themselves to the original duplicate name that they had when you first duplicated the form. It doesn’t import with the new updated display name, when though it exports with it. LOL. And when you finally go through all of this, almost 10 hours of manual work, you realize that there’s no way to import submissions. Please, NF team, please do better. This is unacceptable.

I created a form with a Repeatable Fieldset. Some of the fields inside the Fieldset are required.

The problem is, if I create a second fieldset and remove it, then the form cannot be submitted. It will show an error because of the required fields in the deleted fieldset. If I re-create the second fieldset that I deleted and complete all its required fields then it submits.

The form needs to remove validations for deleted fieldsets.

Is there an option to pass either reply to name and email address or do not to change the reply to ?

I have a Newsletter form in my website footer that is submitted as expected on most pages. On one page the Newsletter form is also used in the page content itself, where the form also works correctly. However, on that page the form in the footer stops working. When clicking on submit, nothing happens – the button stays disabled and the form is never submitted. In my opinion it is a very normal use case to have a Newsletter form both in the page content and the footer, and I expected this to work out-of-the-box. Am I missing something?

Client’s Business Name has an Ampersand in it (&) which comes as &amp; in the email confirmation fro the Get a Quote form.

Any way to escape that OR if I put in the html/hex number (I can’t remember what it’s called) will the email translate it on the other end?

First time i’ve seen this, but when adding V3 re-Captcha to the settings page, i usually see an add new action when building the form under Emails & Actions.

Has it moved or do you just add it in settings now?

I am experiencing a significant issue on our WordPress/WooCommerce site, which contains over 109,000 WooCommerce product tags, and this number continues to grow. It seems that Ninja Forms is querying these product tags on every page load within the admin dashboard, specifically when editing a product.

Due to the large number of tags being accessed, this is resulting in an “Allowed Memory Size” exceeded error, which is severely impacting our ability to manage products.

I am unsure why Ninja Forms would be querying WooCommerce tags in this context. Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue and suggest any potential solutions or optimizations to prevent these queries from causing memory exhaustion?

1. Actions Taken: Try to edit a woocommerce product.
2. Expected Result: The product Edit Screen should load normally.
3. Happening: Fatal error: Allowed memory size occurs when Ninja Forms is activated.

Is there a way to display a checkbox option like a toggle switch?
A user could toggle between On / Off, while both options show, and change colour depending on the selection.
And even better: if the switch could display alternate images.
This can be done with JS/CSS, but that would mean doing hundred of instances with code.
I cannot find documentation on Ninja how to do this without getting into engine room coding.

The following files are missing a private variable and throw PHP errors due to this in some instances:

Are missing private $db_stage_1_complete = true;

And therefore throw errors like the following:

I just updated my ninja forms plugin version to 3.8.17, and found out that text formatting in html field not working..
When I clicked in alignment button, centering/left/right alignment options not showing so I can’t change the alignment. It also applies to others formatting that have dropdown options for example paragraph format, add link and table..

When users are trying to upload files it doesn’t work – lowercase works but if you change the File extension to uppercase it fails (e.g. file.jpg uploads fine but file.JPG does not). I have tried including the uppercase versions of the extensions however it still does not work.

Hello, if I specify in the message that the post URL “{wp:post_url}” should be transferred, the query string is unfortunately no longer transferred.

The page URL is, for example: “https://test.de/test-436/?occurrence=2024-10-05&#8221;

However, only “https://test.de/test-436/&#8221; is transferred in the message

How can I set the URL to be specified in full in the message?

Our form has several email fields and with the latest version of Ninja Forms form fails to send. It always says that email is invalid even though it isn’t required, only first one is required but error shown near not required fields. With 3.8.15 everything worked well, so I installed it for now.

What changes were made with the latest Ninja Forms v3.8.16 update? The changelog still shows v3.8.15.

On our corporate site, which I don’t wish to share on a public forum, someone has overwritten the submissions going back many months when deploying from the staging site a few days ago. There have been further changes and submissions on the site since so we don’t want to just restore a random full backup. I have combed through the backups but I can’t find either in files or the database where Ninja Forms submissions are saved. Can you let me know where in the root directory or database I can find these?

I’m evaluating approx 8 form plugins (primarily chosen by their install count in WP repo) using the default theme against section 508 & wcag.

If you do not wish to be included, it will be stated at the beginning of the presentation that you specifically requested not to be included.

I can see when I create a Ninja form, there is an opportunity to add a generated 5 character code to the email messages. Is there anyway if that code is sent to a customer’s email inbox (after they submit the form), that when they click a link to come back to the site, WordPress can confirm that that code was actually generated through Ninja Forms (true)?
