Not sure if this would be possible in the free version or if it exists in the paid…
It would be very handy (at least I think so) to be able to change the Cost of Goods in the variable product editor. I sell apparel and offer sizes from youth small – adult 5x. It would save a lot of time to be able to select Cost of Goods from the dropdown and add the price once and have it populate all variations.
hello, i receive message:
This plugin is incompatible with the enabled WooCommerce feature ‘High-Performance order storage’, it shouldn’t be activated.
are you planning to update the plugin?
is it safe to use it while it it is not compatible?
]]>Hi
We operate a wordpress/woocommerce website using many plugins including ni-woocommerce-cost-of-goods. We recently investigated woocommerce-product-bundles which meets most of our requirements for compound products.
This plugin introduces a new product type named ‘bundle’. It uses the product type taxonomy for this new type.
Your plugin ni-woocommerce-cost-of-goods has hard coding for product type ‘simple’ which probably needs to also include ‘bundle’ or use the recommended wordpress best practice of using the product type taxonomy.
Do you have any plans to amend your plugin to cater for a product type of ‘bundle’ in the next release?
Many thanks

I noticed that it only will start recording COGS with new orders. I have past orders that I would like to calculate the COGS for. Is there any way to backdate this?
Thanks!
]]>Integration with integromat.com
Hello friends, thank you very much for the plugin!
I transfer all orders to google sheets using integromat.com
Unfortunately their system does not recognize the cost field as part of the fields of wocommerce
And therefore can not synchronize them
Do you know that? Do you have an idea for a solution?
Thank you!
Plugin is fine on orders created via front end/website.
However, if order is created via backend by clicking ‘Add Order’ button then after product is chosen it generates an error:
Undefined property. WC_Order_item_Product::$legacy_values
And the ‘Cost of goods’ meta field is 0 even if setup for the product.
]]>Im working with POS plugin and cost of oggds and other plugins.
when i do a sell, then i expected the report of profits price of sell minus cost of good. but instead, i have only the price of sell as profit. means that is sell price is 20 and i sold 5 pieces and cost is 12, then i expected my profit should be (20-12)*5 = 40; instead im getting 20*5= 100 of profit. Means something is not working because i dont get the cost.
please advice if im doing domething wrong.
regards, Javier
Bonjour,
Alain.
]]>This plugin is great, thank you so much!
I’m trying to show, edit and save the value on another page (see screenshot) by editing another plugin called “WooCommerce Stock Manager”.
I can call and show the value of “ni_cost_goods” but for the life of me have no clue how to save the value (pressing save does not work).
If you have a few minutes, could you please have a look to see if there is an easy way to call and save the cost price on other screens/with other plugins?
Many many thanks
]]>Hello,
My questions relate to the managing of the Cost price field. As you call it the Cost of Goods, I would appreciate your feedback on this.
Many store owners work on creating their Sell price (Regular price) from a base Cost of Goods price. This is something that is missing in Woocommerce which is crazy because it is sorely needed. By this I mean from the Cost prices for products, to be able to Markup that Cost by a Percentage (or in some cases a Fixed dollar amount) to result in the Regular Price.
Thus what is entered is the Cost, and the Sell price (Regular Price) is a consequence of the Cost x Markup %, or Cost + Fixed
Also sorely missing, import a CSV to bulk add the Cost to products, it is too slow and not practical to enter each one manually. We have 3500 products.
Any chance of the above ?
cheers
]]>This is to be fixed urgently.
Imagine my surprise when I checked customer invoice and below the product description noticed _ni_cost_goods: 0
And imagine how happy the customers will be when they see our product cost on their invoices ??
I disabled the plugin till this gets fixed!
For invoicing we use the most popular plugin about that with more than 10k active installs:

Hi,
The admin.php?page=ni-cog-report do not show anything. The form appear static and dont send any data if I press “send data” button.
