The only positive part is storing images in separate folders. Configuration is a nightmare and most of the views don’t work correctly.

I’m really sorry if you’re disappointed. This plugin works only with the old version of NGG (prior to 2.0) and with NextCellent Gallery. This plugin will no be updated for the new NextGen Gallery because it needs a complete rewrite.

I downloaded this hoping to get a decent in-line tag cloud for ny gallery – it worked for one day then stopped when I upgraded NextGen to v2.0.66.

Comments indicate that the author isn’t planning to upgrade to support NGv2. This is not stated in the Installation instructions.

The PowerTags is my life saver plugin for the well known NextGen gallery, what do not have a good tag shortcode system. The PowerTags makes me everything with it’s simle to use shortcode, and I see, that more features coming, like negative tags, so we can create really-really complex filtering in accross in galleries.

I did not find anything similar. According to me this is the only way how to filter images according to their tags. I hope that Mauro will add some features and options in the future. For example combine more tags or to choose which galeries should be included in searching, to have a chance to translate word “all”, to have more control where tags are placed (for me they are always on top of the page).
